"We had issues with electronic payments. Booking.com allows payment at the site. I prefer this when i visit a place sight unseen. But when i went to pay, their system requires payment through an online link. My bank needed a text verification. Because I use a local sim card and not my original phone number, the payment would not go through. Hosts had some difficulty allowing me to pay in cash. But they were wonderful to me as we solved this problem. It just might be useful to consider this very nuanced glitch in the future. Murphy's Law."

"The location is fantastic! What a nice building with a lot of restaurants, a supermarket, and places of interest at a short walk distance. The apartment was very comfortable and nice and the staff was very accommodating and responsive :-). Everything was smooth and without complications. We really enjoyed our stay here and we are planning to make it our go-to-place in Panama city."

"Great location with excellent ocean view. Heavy windows blocked most of the noise coming from the busy boulevard below. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and access to an excellent pool on the 11th floor. Once we checked in, staff was very responsive via WhatsApp."

"We did not know that even though the payment was confirmed as usual months before our arrival through Booking.com, the payment does not go automatically from the credit card and there was confusion when my colleague checked in before me and they said the room had not been paid. We stayed on two different occasions, both inbound and outbound from more rural areas in Panama. Inbound the kitchen was small and not very well equipped in terms of utensils beyond basic cutlery, though it had good appliances. The fridge had both an ice maker and ice water dispenser, but neither worked. Outbound the kitchen was large, but still with few utensils (no spatula!), and there was no couch at all in the living room and no bedside lamps in the bedroom. Power outlets were rare."

"Yoo is an exceptional apartment building with a fantastic location at the Malecon/Oceanside. The hosts are excellent and very serviceminded. The apartments are of high standard with big space and beautiful interior. The view is breathtaking and the balconies are very private. It has absolutely everything you need as a demanding guest, at the spot or in the nearby surroundings. I have stayed 4 times at Yoo, and it's a pleasure to be there. The neighbourhood makes you feel happy and its full of nice places. Safe area! After countless travels and 150 countries I can surely tell Yoo is top draw!"

"They sell it as yoo but its private. They allowed 3rd party to enter the premises for collecting information about a guest. When I asked for different room they told me its not their problem. The filt of that place is beyond measures. View like from prison. So I requested refund. Denied. I left the room half way to my check out. I let them know. They act as if nothing happened Also, sending my regards to Tovek."

"I like the location being in the core of the city. However I did not enjoy the noise of the highway. Not sure I would stay here if I was visiting for an extended stay."

"The most disappointing thing is that the gas was off in the building which means I had to have cold showers everyday, the stove was not operational - which was my main reason for staying in a condo vs a hotel. The owners must have known the gas was out and still took the booking - they did offer a discount but I did not find out about this issue until the evening before I travelled. I didn't have time to find alternative options to stay. I learned from the folks in the building that it's been off for at least a month - long before February 20th when I arrived. To top it off the shower does not drain, the tiles are installed uneven causing a puddle in the middle of the shower which results in mold buildup from the constant moisture. I informed the owners, a maintenance person came and said he's going to fetch tools and never came back."

"Very disappointed w stay and lack of service to this return customer, payment taken without informing me of apartment supply issue then I was given apartment that less size and standard than I paid for. Poor service continued as I was left hanging trying to sort for 2 hours+ while others priorised, I was Expected to set-up alone in apartment that not prepped and had smelly aircon. William and Cesar try their best but No upgrade offered to sort although Yoo fault and no one onsite w authority to sort…I then had to leave 1N early as gas switched off for testing so no hot water, laundry etc and 2 weeks+ to get refund although I’m immediately out-of-pocket w top last minute hotel rate w changing places."

"This stay at Yoo Panama was perfect. I stayed here with my family for 9 days. The view was to die for!!! The location was perfect and access to many amenities such as cafes, supermarket less than a minute walk behind the building, restaurants and close to the malls. The staff was really helpful and accommodating, pleasant. The apartment was well equipped, even had washer and dryer which was a plus and it is very spacious. There are no hidden fees at all. We ended up extending our stay after staying for the first night :) there's has a beautiful lobby area that you'll spend most of your time at lol 😆 if you're thinking about booking, stop thinking and book!!! Definitely won't regret this stay!"
