"Nice staff, easy check in (can check in anytime) and alright location in miraflores. Breakfast was good. The room was comfortable and a good size."

"It was a bit of a walk from cafes and restaurants. Easy enough to get around but not in the centre of Miraflores."

"The cutest little place in Miraflores district, has an ice cream shop and a little kiosk next door. A stones throw from the beach. Host incredibly kind and accommodating - quick response, allowed me to store my luggage after check out. Love the contact free check in, so seamless. Room is big, huge bed and lots of pillows. Breakfast in the morning was lovely - fresh scrambled eggs, cheese, ham and a selection of breads. Shoutout to the lady making breakfast you are super sweet and kind."

"The lady Lucia that was preparing breakfast was super nice. For the day we departed quite early she prepared us a nice breakfast box. Beds were really comfortable. All was really clean."

"I have stayed in Lima twice . I made the mistake choosing a different place the first time just a block away. I wish i stayed here the whole time. everything was perfect. the contactless check in was seamless and made me feel like i had my own place. The host is very kind, breakfast was super. They have refreshed my room even after just one night. I would without thinking stay here again if i came back to Lima."

"Location is just superb! The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, the bed was huge and extremely comfortable. The host served a wonderful homemade breakfast in the morning. WiFi connection was fast and reliable. Hot water was always available. For a very reasonable price the host allowed us to checkout very late. I’d definitely stay here again!"

"Sometimes I could hear loud conversations coming from the hallway, but it wasn’t a big problem since it wasn’t late at night."

"NIce location in quiet street very close to seaside. 30 min walk to Parque Kennedy. Good contact with host and simple self check in process.They allow us to leave luggage after check out. Nice breakfast, nice room and very kind staff."

"The hotel is located in the centre, next to the river ( can be very noisy) the rooms are simple but nice and comfortable. Breakfast is nice, but above all is the staff great. There are no problems only solutions. The great support to make your once in a lifetime visit to Machu Picchu is amazing. Picking you up, helping buying the correct tickets, keeping luggage, even bringing luggage to the train in case you get tight in time. There is an endless water supply. The team is great!"

"Nice rustic white buildings. Lovely swimming pool for cooling off. Large fridge for putting your own fruit and other food into. Good food served from the restaurant to your room and balcony if requested. Very helpful and friendly staff. The hot water didn’t work in the room we were given to begin with, but we were then moved to another even nicer room immediately. The staff arranged taxis for our arrival and departure. The location while being out of Punta Sal town allowed for a less crowded very quiet beachside holiday."

"Casa Melgar was a historic school/college and it is a beautiful colonial complex in the center. Gardens are beautiful and well maintained, rooms are gorgeous and spatious, beds are comfortable and it is overall silent and tranquil. I loved the breakfest buffet, Ana really made it special for us every morning and we enjoyed fresh produce she prepared for us. Big thanks to Doris and Joseph for also making our trip extra special!"

"Best hotel I stayed at in Peru. Very personal service, quiet and clean room with modern decor and great touches likes shampoo and glasses, which you don’t alway get in budget hotels in Peru. Breakfast substantial, including cooked eggs and continental options. Great hot showers too. Given that it’s not located in the heart of the old city, it’s a cheaper option than most other budget hotels."
