"Spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms. Excellent water pressure in the shower. Hot shower. Daily housekeeping, good breakfast, friendly receptionist. Quiet and clean neighbourhood. Good wifi. TV and fan in bedroom."

"It's a solid 40 minute walk from the center, you need to take a 15 minute taxi/tuk-tuk if you don't want to walk. Extra note: As backpackers, the stay would have been perfect if there had been a mini fridge or communal microwave/kettle available. Especially as there are no hostels in Chiclayo. Just a note to any other backpackers going through Chiclayo, your eating out budget will need to be bigger."

"El hotel esta ubicado en un sitio tranquilo alejado del centro, es una buena opción para una noche, ya que no hay muchas opciones de restaurantes cerca. Tiene parqueadero sin costo adicional. El desayuno que ofrece es muy sencillo, jugo, huevo, pan y café."

"The property and room was beautiful, especially the surroundings. it was nice to stay outside the centre and a taxi was not expensive back in the evenings. The staff were amazing to help accommodate our food allergies and offered assistance considering our lack of Spanish! Thank you!"

"Great historical hotel with authentic decoration, plenty of photos and information about the history of Iquitos and very welcoming and helpful staff. We stayed as a family of four in a large and very comfortable room. It is located right by the riverside, has a balcony and large common areas. The breakfast was simple but good. The staff, especially Francisco, were very helpful and friendly, always doing their very best to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. It is an old building in need of constant maintenance, and of course, there are details which are work in progress but that didn´t impact the comfort of our stay in any way. We highly recommend and certainly will come back."

"Everything! All the properties I stayed in Latin America are old so that is no issue to me. I like the vintagy style. I had a huge room, nice bathroom and on the ground floor. It has a nice inner yard and an adorable kitty greeted me at the door! The owner and his family is super friendly and I met some nice people too. The location awas great and I believe it was a great value for money. I would definately go back given the chance!"

"Accueil très chaleureux de la part de Darwin et Noemi. La maison est impeccable. J'ai pu rencontrer des amis de Darwin et aller surfer tous ensemble. Ayant un niveau de débutant, ils m'ont donné de précieux conseils pour m'améliorer. Super vibe et superbes vagues même hors saison ! Les lits sont confortables, cuisine opérationnelle, le wifi fonctionne bien, rien a redire, c'était PARFAIT !! J'espère revenir un jour et encore merci !"

"The location is a bit far, maybe a 8 minute walk to the plaza, but it’s a really great hostel. I stayed there for over 2 months. The views of the city from the roof are really incredible and the owners are nice and accommodating. Raul even lent me a guitar for the duration of my stay. There’a a kitchen you can use and a nice little garden that you can relax in."
