"Unfortunately the airport and main road is also on your doorstep - the hotel is directly on the street and our room faced the scooter parking and dive congregation area, so it felt very exposed. The scooter and motorbike noise by night was loud, as was the overhead aeroplane noise, although the hotel considerately provide ear plugs as part of your stay."

"Nice, small clean hotel, close to shops, airport and everything you might need. Lovely rooms, nice and helpful staff and the restaurant by the hotel was amazing!"

"This hotel is a clear 10/10. The rooms are beautifully designed and spotlessly clean. Daily housekeeping is provided, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. The hotel staff is fantastic and always ready to help with any requests, whether it’s organizing tours and excursions or arranging tricycles. The location is slightly away from the busy center of Alona Beach, but you can easily and affordably get there by tricycle. In return, it’s much quieter, which makes the stay very relaxing. The hotel also has its own fantastic restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is incredibly delicious, and the staff is so friendly that we ended up eating there every single day. We are not divers, but even for non-divers, this hotel is an absolute gem. 100% recommendation!"

"We really enjoyed the design of the hotel. The staff and especially the staff at the onsite restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Wifi was good. Beds were comfy. The hotel is a bit far from the main area but they were super helpful in getting a good motorbike fast."

"The onsite scuba school was already booked out for days in advance and we were only able to get added to a boat for one of our onsite days --> book in advance if you want a spot! :) We also planned on extending our stay even but they were already sold out. Great if there would be some more tables or places to hang/put stuff in the room. There are no sunbeds at the pool."

"Moana dive is a great place to stay, large spacious, modern rooms, amazing hot shower, large comfortable bed, and nice balcony/seating area. The pool is clean and lovely after a hot day! The onsite restraunt is great. There is a security guard overnight to help if you need anything. The staff were so helpful and helped us organise, tuk tuks, dinner reservations, day trips, and airport transfers"

"The staff was great, they were really nice to us and even managed to facilitate a refund from one of the agencies after we told them we were unhappy with the tour. Also very clean rooms."

"Every time a plane lands, it is very loud and feels like it enters the room, even though ear plugs are provided. The emergency lights in the room are very bright, so if the electricity goes out during the night—which is not uncommon in the Philippines—you can expect to wake up (this happened twice during our stay). Also, it was the only hotel during our three-week stay in the Philippines that did not accept any credit cards for tours and car rentals"
