"Beautiful cottage in Ocam Ocam. The cottage is ran by a lovely couple. The smaller cottage is right on the beach as shown in the pictures. Few nice restaurants are available along the beach near by. The bathroom was cleaned few times a day and workers are ready to fetch you coconuts whenever you want. I think they are renovating, so I would take advantage of the cottage while it’s here!! One of my favourites spots in the Philippines. If you like quiet and peace this is the spot - you aren’t going to find a restful place like this in most of the Philippines. Hardly any karaoke noise, no boom boom music early in the morning, and there’s hardly anyone on the beach. Tip: no ATM in Ocam Ocam so I would bring cash, some fruits and snacks."

"Wow what a hidden gem!!! Beautiful stand alone beachfront cottage on a serene beach . The Filipina/Canadian couple, Milyn and Rod, who own the place have done everything to make your stay here comfortable. All this at a bargain price makes you really appreciate that you can still find undiscovered paradises away from the tourist hot-spot of Coron and El Nido."

"Peaceful place, little heaven on earth. No people around, stunning sunsets, great staff members Jervin and Jayson always happy to help. Thank you guys for a great time and lovely day at Black Island! Nice restaurant literally few minutes away where you can have a good Iced Coffee and food. Great and super fast WiFi. Lovely resting area next to the beach like hammocks and sun beds."

"Plenty of ants and other insects inside of my sea view cottage. I’m not a difficult person but I was waking up so many times during every single night because of ants walking all over my bed and body. Little improvement like a bed frame and a mosquito net would change a lot. At least the bed could be placed away from the floor. Also a mosquito net could stop other insects like a flying ants which literally covered all my bed last night of my stay. Not really a comfortable thing unfortunately."

"The cottages are lovely! It just newly opend, when we booked our stay and there was only one cottage: it was directly at the beach, the view was stunning. The owners were very nice too, the atmosphere was nice and relaxed, also There were hammok directly St the beach. Breakfast was brought to the beach, so that we could have it viewing the ocean. The cottage was simple and clean, there even was electricity and a fan. We only stayed one night, but really loved it :)"

"The only thing missing is a real shower. There is a shared bathroom (also clean) with a toilet und "filipino style shower" : a bucket with water. But it will be built soon..."

"Que dire quand on revient du paradis ? Pour ceux , comme nous, qui aiment la tranquillité, la nature et l'authenticité... Mylin et son mari sont aux petits soins pour leurs hôtes. Le petit déjeuner est servi sur la plage...A recommander !"

"L’accueil (merci beaucoup à Rod et Mayline!) le lieu, l’excursion des 4 îles, l’endroit … tout est parfait pour déconnecter ! Je me suis même mélangé les jours tellement qu’on perd la notion du temps et Mayline a eu la gentillesse d’accepter de prolonger mon séjour d’un jour, alors qu’ils avaient des invités qui auraient pu bénéficier du bungalow que j’occupais."

"Rien tout est parfait. Notez que l’électricité est seulement activée en fin de journée jusqu’au matin, mais franchement, on ne voit tellement pas le temps passé là bas que ça ne m’a pas gênée."
