"I liked that the bathroom was en-suite, even though it had said it was a common bathroom in the hall. The shower was nice and had plenty of hot water. Towels and soap were provided. There was a fridge in the room and the wardrobe was very spacey. Lots of pillows were provided. We were delayed and had to ring the concierge to check in around midnight. We had to wait a while, but he came and checked 3 of us in, even though we had only booked for two. I loved the air-conditioning. It cooled off the room within minutes and was very easy to use. It was quiet, there was no noise from the other rooms or from traffic."

"When we got up the first morning, the owner(?) barked at us that there were three of us when only two of us had been booked in and that we were defrauding him, because we had only paid for two. Neither the concierge (Spanish), nor the owner spoke anything but Spanish/Portuguese, so we were lucky to have a fluent Portuguese speaker with us to explain to him that we had in fact paid for three the night before. He rang the concierge and was nice after he had confirmed that we had paid for three. One of the lamps on the bedside tables didn't work. We didn't get the room we had booked (two separate beds), but had to sleep in a double bed. Online it said we could have a third bed in the room for an extra €15, but one of us had to sleep on the floor (there wouldn't have been any space for a third bed anyway). Luckily there was an extra blanket in the wardrobe. The WiFi was not strong enough for a laptop, so we couldn't use it. The bidet was not safe to use. All the signs in the room were just in Portuguese. Just a warning: the part of the building we stayed in has very steep external stairs. It would not be suitable for people with mobility issues or who cannot strain themselves. You'd want to be reasonably fit to get up there."

Espaço "tipo familiar" muito acolhedor com o Rúben a assumir o papel de anfitrião, com uma recetividade que cada vez vai sendo mais difícil encontrar nos dias de hoje! 5 estrelas!!!
