"The breakfast was simpler and less rich but sufficient. The hotel was overall pleasant with a nice garden and swimming pool. The hotel was in an ideal quiet location about 800 meters from the historic town of Obidos. Snídaně byla jednodušší a méně bohatá ale dostatečná. Hotel byl celkově příjemný s hezkou zahradou a bazénem. Hotel byl na ideálním klidném místě cca 800 metrů od historického města Obidos."

"Location: close to the center of Obidos. If you don't travel from Porto to Lisbon or back or to Nazaré, there is no need to travel to Obidos, other than the cadtle. The nearby castle is nice, but the inner streets and houses are superb! Worth having a detour to see the castle! Staff was nice and friendly. They have their own parking! Brilliant!"
"Breakfast needs an overhaul: while it ticks all the basics, I would've loved some scrambled or poached eggs and more vegetables. And also change the undrinkable coffee- you need a proper espresso machine or the automated coffee maker to be able to use real coffee, not the cheap soluble one used today."

"Very nice place. Very quiet, in the middle of horses. It was so nice to sit on the veranda and soak in the atmosphere. The veranda is also very nicely sheltered from the wind."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"
