"Turn overs of the room could have been a little better for example the beds were often not re-made and tea bags weren’t replaced. The breakfast was a little basic with very bad coffee and one morning the milk was sour - definitely room for improvement with breakfast."

"It’s quiet and peaceful, the building itself has character and is beautifully decorated. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and very clean. Comfortable bed, pillows, sheets and blanket. All windows covered with mosquito nets so easy to sleep with the windows open and enjoy a nice breeze at night. But also AC available. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, would definitely come back and recommend!"
"Being used to Portuguese coffee, we were kinda sad about not having that kind of coffee available at breakfast or throughout the day. Just filter coffee. But it’s maybe more a personal preference."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"

The rooms are just OK—clean and comfortable but little charm. Would definitely stay here again. Happily accomodated our bicycles in a secure room. Overall—super, just super!"
