Vila Bicuda Resort

"This was our fourth Christmas holidays at Vila Bicuda. Everything was excellent, as always, except that we were accommodated in a house that had recently been renovated, and there was a strong smell of paint in the bedroom."

"I go often to this resort. Location is great, the resort is great, not many facilities but it is really confortable for families and secure. Pity that Sacolinha the bar that they have, great for breakfast, is closed on Sundays."

"Lovely apartment, cleaned every day. Great to have the bakery, shop and restaurant so close by."

"Good quality apartment and well equipped and overlooking the village square with orange trees. Lovley shops like bakery and beauty parlour, gym , supermarket etc. Restaurant is ok . Well kept gardens. Comfortable beds and good TV."

"Noisy in morning being next to creche children being dropped off. Kids being kids but made dogs bark and woke us and staff noisy moving around opening up but ok really as we liked being in village centre and was only for 1 night. Restaurant food was ok but a soulless room with zero atmosphere. It's a shame as could be made lovely with cosy design and not such bright lights ."

"Kitchen didn’t have a blind"

"We were not expecting such a large , modern & and spacious room with its own kitchenette. The property was perfect for our needs which was to be close to Oitavo Dunes Golf Course. The grounds are very pretty with an amazing pool area that unfortunately we didn't have enough time to spend there."

"Such a beautiful complex well maintained. Villas are spacious and comfortable. Everything you need in kitchen utensils cooker fridge freezer washing machine. Beds comfortable. This is my second visit and I will be back. Love the cafe/ bakery on site, and it is excellent choice for coffee lunch breads, cakes and treats. Mini market is great too. Pools are wonderful and well kept!"

"The apartment was larger than expected and well appointed. Plenty of space and seating in the lounge / dining area and pleasant lighting. The kitchen was well equipped, except for the lack of a dishcloth. Plenty of towels in the bathrooms. The terrace and outside seating options are great too."

"The extractor fan in the bathroom is weak, so the mirror steams up immediately and takes ages to clear. An overhead light in the bedroom would be useful as the two bedside lamps are not enough if you are trying to pack or unpack at night. A dishcloth in the kitchen would have been useful. Unfortunately, an irresponsible dog owner had allowed their pet to soil in front of our back terrace. Several members of staff walked past without clearing it away. I know it is the responsibility of the dog owner, but in the absence of their courtesy, it would have been nice to have had it removed by the resort staff rather than have to step over it all the time. It's a shame the bakery / cafeteria isn't open on a Sunday. I think they would do great trade, especially as a quick pit stop before people check out of their accommodation."

"The apartment is in one of the townhouses set on a large, secure estate with plenty of green lawns. Very good quality and spacious. You will find there everything you need for your life. Even small supermarket, caffe and children's playground."
