In general, I really did like the property. It is perhaps not as fresh as it could be however that is part of its attraction.

- food wasn't cheap, menu was limited - beach in front of hotel was dirty and birdpoop - no possibility to board a (rented) jetski in front of the hotel - no guarded parking for the cars - 5 minutes walk and no vallet possible - breakfast buffet seems big but not that much variety day over day - it's always the same it seems

"Hotel je na příjemném tichém místě obklopený zelení, v blízkosti jsou 3 malé plážičky a infinity bazén. Vilky jsou prostorné, čisté, mají velkorysé terasy s lehátky, posezením a překrásným výhledem.Podávaná jídla jsou z kvalitních surovin a skvěle připravená, oceňuji možnost výběru ala carte i při polopenzi."

Počet lehátek a jejich kvalita - špinavé potahy, občas odpoledne již nebyly k dispozici ručníky

Restaurant waiters are useless, slow, just talking to each other. . Even if you are a guest at hotel they want you to pay for the huts. Hotel guests should get at least a free hour daily. There is no real beach seating for hotel guests to relax.

Sol de Mar had good Mediterranean style food with a relaxed atmosphere. My husband and I ate here on a few occasions- pasta with lobster, veal scallopini both great choices. Close location to a number of off property restaurants that are excellent."

The pads on the loungers are very old, worn thin and extremely uncomfortable to sit on. Chef’s Table wasn’t good- we ate only one dinner there and the lobster cake and fish were dried out. The pasta dish with Shrimp had the full shell on the shrimp still making eating very messy. Lobster Fest on the beach was disappointing. The lobster was dried out as it had been sitting under lamps for some time. We waited 30 minutes past our reservation time to finally get a table after speaking with the manager in charge. Very unorganized.

"Just generally one of those special places that will stick in my memory forever. A collection of pretty little cabins by the beach surrounded by palm trees with hammocks slung between them for whiling away the days. With only the sounds of birds and waves. Where everyone just hangs out and chats, the staff, the other guests, the extremely interesting and gregarious owner Gregory (no pun intended). I could spend a week here just forgetting about the outside world. The various arrangements (airport transfer, transfer back to town, activities) all went smoothly as well. Which is my no means guaranteed in this part of the world."

Not much but if I went again I'd maybe pay a little more for the room with ensuite shower rather than sharing a communal shower with non locking door. Obviously this is budget accommodation in West Africa so it's of the rustic eco lodge variety rather than the western style hotel room variety in case anyone is expecting that.

There was nothing significant to complain about. Overall, the experience met and even exceeded my expectations.

Bar was expensive so no-one really used it. Pure Ocean restaurant was just ok. Apartment was a bit tired in places. Felt it was expensive for what it was but worth paying the extra for pool/garden view.

Hotel je už starší. Ale s tím se počítalo. Kafe nebylo dobré 😄 a pláž se zavírala brzy-už v 17, ale v Bahrainu je dost možností, co dělat…..

Zažila jsem poměrně masívní výpadek proudu, takže pár hodin nefungovala klimatizace. To ovšem může rezort ovlivnit jen velmi okrajově.
