"The dinning area lacks aesthetics and atmosphere. Such a lost opportunity on the design. It is set out like a cafeteria, not a comfortable dinning experience. An unattractive fence/ wall interferes with the water front view. While the menu is all chinese food, it is no different from anywhere else in town and could offer more variety of other Cousinses, especially if the intent to appeal to a boarder customer base. Wine was only available by the bottle on not by the glass and was limited selection. Tonic water was not available. The coffee machine was not turned on in the morning so could not get my flat white. The water front location has huge potential but is not appealing so a lost opportunity for an international and higher end local market if that is what the owners desire."

"I very much enjoyed my interactions with the staff. Specifically, Janet ensured that we were well taken care of. I also really enjoyed the location and being right on the water. There were very peaceful sounds of the waves below. I was debating between staying here or the Coral Sea Resort. I would say that the rooms are indeed closer to the water at this property and so in that capacity I made the right decision. The water temp and pressure were appropriate and room clean. I remember thinking to myself how the room looked way better in person than the Booking.com pictures."

"I want to put the context that the property opened in Fall of 2023 and as of this writing the property is still in its "growing pains" with some amenities not yet available in Jan 2024. We were made aware of this in advance and mostly put it in the "didn't like" section so that others are aware. Specifically, the restaurant we were told would be open in February or March. Also, WiFi works fine in the lobby but the signal was weaker in the room. The bed is on the firm side. This was all fine for us but might be more important to others."

"I received five star service from every staff member. I loved everything about my room including the fantastic water view plus the balcony with seating and a bistro table. Sufficient lighting options in all the right spots in my room. The food from the very limited menu was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my sweet-and-sour chicken, steamed rice plus mixed fresh vegetables."

"There is one menu. For breakfast I ordered the same tasty meal as dinner since there was no breakfast options on site. Management differs from the hotel so we walked one minute and I paid at the front reception."
