"I'm a bit of a wuss and didn't enjoy the cold shower. (the only thing that stopped me giving a 10) Oddly the next door neighbour started playing really loud music at 7.00 a.m. on two of the mornings I was there, although I understand this won't be a problem moving forward."

"Andres was super welcoming and kind. He even showed us the way to the beach. That's just a 5 minute walk. The location was great and the area is silent. Comfortable basic room with a very comfy bed, good AC and a useful closet."

"Excellent value for the price! A basic but spacious room with A/C. There's a hammock and chair on the porch in front of every room. Filtered water is free for guests and the wifi works well. There is guest kitchen. The hostal is only a few minutes' walk to the beach, the restaurants, bars, etc. I didn't meet Andres in person, but he was very responsive and communication was easy via WhatsApp. He arranged my shuttle to Santa Ana, answered all my questions, and even allowed a late check-out for me at a very reasonable price. Definitely a great option for those looking for an affordable place to stay in El Tunco."

"Really quiet location and a spacious room. Great that each room has a hammock and chair! Only a short walk along the river or the main road to get the beach and El Tunco. Really recommend staying here!"

"Super cute and quiet little hostel about a 10 min walk from the main Surf City area, unless you take the shortcut through the shallow river. Air con was amazing. Loved that each room had a hammock and chair outside. Friendly staff and did our laundry for a very good price and in only 1 day. Small kitchen did the job! Very good value in awl Tunco, most other places for private rooms were nearly double!"

"Great accomodation with only 3 units. Had everything we needed and AC in the room. Only a short walk (over a shallow river) to El Tunco shops. Staff was friendly and responsive. Would recommend."
