"I had an amazing stay at Sky Blue Residence. I arrived with a flat tire and the husband of the owner, Nico, right away helped me to fix it. Next to that Donne and Claudia are amazing hosts that take you in like you are a family member of them. It was quite far from the activities I had in Simpson Bay, but Middle Region is a nice area that really shows you the daily life of locals in Sint Maarten. The view on the hills and sunset is a big plus :)"

"It is a pleasant and cozy flat on the second floor of the house of the hosts. The kitchen is fully equipped. The kitchen and the bathroom and the toilet are inside the flat. The hosts are a delightful, welcoming, and very helpful family. There is a large terrace overlooking the hills. The location is nice and peaceful and tranquil, nestled on a sort of a hill. There are nearby grocers and cafes (2-5 minutes away on foot). The Guana Bay Beach and the Gibbs Bay Beach and the Dawn Beach are 1h away on foot or 10 minutes by car. You don’t have to order a traditional taxi, you can just hail a car on the street and hop into a so called Gypsy, which is a car which works like a shuttle bus (USD2 per person per ride). I recommend this place and I will deffo be back :)"

"The hosts were very friendly, answered my every question and helped me with planning my days. They offered me fresh Papaya from the garden and printed a document for me - thanks again! I enjoyed the breakfast and dinner Claudia cooked at a good price. The room was nice, with AC and its own exterior door that can be locked with a code. I would definitely recommend staying there!"

"Wow, this is an exceptional find. The apartment was a great size, very neat and clean. It is very handy for Philipsburg either by car or by bus. A word about Rhody. What a beautiful minded lady, always ready to help and support, who even came to my rescue when I was trying to find my way to the apartment. She is dedicated to helping people settle down, very cheerful, great communications, helpful information about areas of St Maarten. And always with a smile. Apartment is big enough for a number of people, great layout, really comfy furniture, well stocked cupboards with kitchen equipment. Ample bedroom and bathroom provisions. Sadly I didn't try the swimming pool, I was out most of the time but it's a good sized pool and looked just right for chilling out in. An incredible find with a wonderful host who has become a lovely friend."
