"Great value for money. What stood of most is the receptionist, who really went above and beyond to provide good service. He was always looking for a way to help or make the experience better. The hostel is spacious, with a big common area with a view over the city. The dorm rooms were also wide and spacious, with even a private sitting area within the room. I had the room to myself for the 4 days I was there. Air-conditioning available, which is crucial in summer (although it does turn itself off at night). There's a kitchen. Wifi available (standard Tajik speed). Warm showers, towels provided. Good location with public transport nearby, and a 24/7 supermarket in the same building. Great option for the price, have recommended to others already."

"Cleanliness of kitchen and common area. Just mopping the floors is not enough, all surfaces were sticky. I know part of it is because of the clientele, but that just means 1x cleaning per day is not enough (or better control is needed: daily people were sitting barefoot on the kitchen tops, not very hygienic to prepare food on). Also, sheets were clean, but the (only) blankets provided to sleep under were not washed. I checked all 6 of them in the dorm, and all had hairs on it. I requested a sheet instead, which was provided."

"The atmosphere in the hostel is very pleasant, thanks to both the staff and the tenants. Our dormitory for girls was super cosy, very clean and included its own bathroom. The kitchen was very large and fully equipped. The price is reasonable for the high quality hostel. We couldn't reach internet before our arrival so it was a bit tricky to look for the hostel in the street. Actually, the street was easy to find, but there were more blocks on the spot. If you are in the same situation, look for the building with the 24/7 supermarket and the restaurant (their proximity is great advantage for your stay). The entrance is from the back part of the building. Or ask in the restaurant, they are extremely nice and helpful. They helped us and a waiter accompanied us to the entrance door. :)"

"The accommodation was very pleasant. I spent more than a week in this hotel. It is ideal for relaxing after a trek in nature. Really wonderful space for reading, work and conversation."

"I stayed here before and after my Pamir tour, and it's a very nice and quiet hostel. Before my tour, my room was completely full but afterwards it was rather empty, so it really depends on your timing. Beds are comfy, and the hostel is pretty clean. The common space is very large, and the furniture is comfortable. The small library is also a huge plus The location is a bit far from the city center compared to other hostels but all you need to do is take a bus which takes about 30 min (with walking included). Otherwise, there's a supermarket and restaurant in the same building that offers all you need. Btw, try shakorob and kurotob in the restaurant -- very tasty! Amriddin works in the mornings and afternoons and he is great and super helpful."

"In the evenings, a woman works but she doesn't seem to speak English at all which makes communication difficult. Also the hostel charged me and one other man 100 somoni for the letter for registration in Tajikistan. Other hostels offer the letter for free so please keep in mind."

"The guy who works here is super gentle and nice. Sheets smell nice and clean. Toilets have good plumbing and no sewage smell (can happen in Central Asia) There is a good restaurant for food and a supermarket at the bottom of the hotel - very convenient!! We stayed a second time because we liked it a lot. Able to do laundry here easily :-) very important for traveling"

"What a gem in Dushanbe, our initial guest house booking got cancelled so we last minute needed to find an affordable stay. We booked the suite and it was the size of a proper apartment. We did a laundry load for free and the staff are friendly and accommodating."

"They described how to get in but when we tried to ring the front door, the bell was disabled. Which left us waiting for quite a while until someone let us in. Then the elevator also doesn’t work until you get the key fob from reception. Lucky for us, a fellow guest was on her way to the same floor and could bring us in. We didn’t have a local SIM card so no way to contact the place. Would recommend to get in touch with the property in advance about your arrival time so they know when to expect you."
