Situated on the 11th floor of an old uninspiring building, the apartment is very spacious, quiet, and well-equipped, but (despite some improvents) is a little dated and worn. Nevertheless a good-value place to stay. There's a supermarket immediately across the road, and Dushanbe's main attractions are all within walking distance... as is the OVIR office if you need to get registered for your stay in Tajikistan. (The lovely and welcoming hosts, Manizha and her Mum, Julia, can help with the registration process)"

"a very nice, new, spacious, comfortable and extremely clean apartment in a high rise residential building on one of the main shopping streets of dushanbe. excellent system of lights in the apartment, so even kitchen where there is no window can be perfectly lit. beautiful ''persian'' carpets. spacious, modern bathroom. high quality furniture and household appliances. big kitchen table ideal for office work if you need with your laptop on your travels. the host (bakhtiyor) is a great and very helpful gentleman. a big supermarket (no alcohol) around the corner (including the outside cash machine to withdraw somoni with your mastercard). 30 mins walk to the very centre of the city (rudaki park). a very short distance to the airport - and a taxi costs 1 - 1.5 eur). i really loved the apartment and will come back there on my next trip to dushanbe which i found to be a really nice and peaceful city worth re-visiting."
