The Hummingbird

"The location is perfect, walking distance to the strip and the beach. It's nice and quiet and intimate. The breakfast was lovely and we were able to make our requests in advance and even confirm a time. It was very convenient and cooked to perfection! Very grateful to the team, a lovely family, for great customer service and care, even before we arrived. They communicated with us to ensure all needs were met and keeping us well informed of all preparation needed. The room was clean and good space. The pool was lovely, also has a deep end, which allows for actual swimming (laps), not just chilling."

"The WIFI sometimes cut out if you weren't using the phone, but otherwise no complaints. We had a wonderful stay and would have stayed longer if time allowed."

"Loved that there was a family feel to the Hummingbird. It was very private. The bedroom was tidy and neat, water, soft drinks in the fridge with the usual tea, coffee and biscuits which was a nice touch. It was the breakfast which is to die for. It was a Trinidad local breakfast which I loved, which included fried fish and prawns, so felt like brunch more than anything. The location of the property is ideal as it’s next to the new airport, so ideal as you simply walk across!"

"The Hummingbird is family run with great care and attention. I was well looked after. My room was comfortable and the home-made breakfast is delicious and highly recommended. The location is good, only 15 mins walk to Crown Point or a short bike ride. It is also close for the airport, but no noise from the airport (it is not a busy airport at all and mostly turbo-prop planes). A great place to start or finish a visit to Tobago."

"Very helpful and serviceminded owners. They took well care of us. Very good breakfast. Rekomend their "Trini option" Homemade food with a lot of taste. Nice rooms with direct access to the pool which was warm and clean. Toilet and shower was good. When the new airport terminal is opened in April the hotel is perfect located for the first night's after arriving to Tobago, or before leaving. From the hotel it's just across the road and 100 metres to the terminal entrance."

"The noise from the airport terminal construction. But it will be finished in April. Bars and restaurants are a bit away but in walking distance."
