"Silence Manor is a tranquil retreat at the foot of the mountains. The staff were accommodating and friendly from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The rooms are comfortable, clean and have their own hot spring bath! In the evening, the restaurant made us a delicious meal which they amended to suit our vegan diets. They also had a campfire under the stars and toasted marshmallows. It was easily the best place we have stayed in Taiwan."

"Wonderful location, great staff, very generous and delicious breakfast, outstanding pour over coffee - a perfect place to stay close to town but really feel like you are in the mountains! Very peaceful and great facilities!"

"This is a great hotel, better than most Taiwanese hotels. The hot spring is top-notch. The room is quiet. Staff are well-trained and speak good English. We really enjoy our stay."

"The complementary breakfast was great! The staff asked us what time we would like to eat the night before, so that the meal were freshly prepared. They were also very friendly! They helped to arrange transportation for us to the nearby attractions/eateries (at our own cost of course). There was a night where we had to head out for dinner, as the property did not have dinner available. The property paid for our taxi to the nearby eateries. I thought this was really kind of them, and really appreciated their hospitality. On the night I arrived, there was a campfire where we could roast mashmellows. It was delicious :) Location wise, if you are looking for a quiet place for some rest and relaxation, then this is the place for you!"

"From the website, it appeared that dinner would be available for booking. However, after conversing with the property online, I realised this option was no longer available. Perhaps the property could update their website for this?"

"A wonderful return stay with convenient transport.The bonfire event that evening was particularly special .The breakfast was thoughtfully prepared and,as always , delicious -- we really appreciated it. Grateful to 王先生and 藍小姐 for helping my sister retrieve her phone, which had fallen into the bathtub water, late at night. We truly appreciate their efforts . Hope to stay in the same room as my first visit next time ."

"The staff are very patient and polite. It gives people a very cordial feeling. Breakfast was good and tasty. We were in a rush and didn't have dinner reservations, They arranged for a car to drive us out to dinner, which was much appreciated."
