"A five minute walk from the ferry terminal literally just straight up Rivera so convenient. The people working there are friendly and helpful. "The property on arrival looked exactly like it's pictures, the staff where friendly and helpful. We meet one of the farm dogs whom took us for a walk across the paddock to the creek where it went for a swim. Back at the ranch we meet the friendly hosts, dinner is a communal affair were you meet the other guests, on our first night was an amazing BBQ of local food. Our hosts enjoyed telling stories around the dinner table, it's here we learnt of the travels of the other guests and their recommendations within Uruguay.The next morning we went for a horse ride and off across the paddock with the dogs we understood why this is the land of the gaucho, the horses are so well trained and followed the instructions of the gaucho. The few days at the ranch went quickly and was the highlight of our trip to Uruguay"
