"Honestly, the other guests were the only real problem… they were complaining about the service, but we found to be appropriate considering the cost. We warn that the house was in reconstruction. It’s cold, therefore, bring warm clothes!"

"There was a large group of Chinese workers staying who were noisy and rather took over the place. Ruslan's parents were very apologetic. Beds are rock hard. The place is a bit of a building site at present as Ruslan is developing the guesthouse to have more rooms around a traditional courtyard. Once done, it promises to be lovely."

"Expensive for Uzbekistan. No bedside light or switch. Not easy to get to get to Nurota by public transport.. Expect to pay around $30 for private taxi. Owner can arrange stays in yurts in mountains. Very good for chilling out in countryside, but ensure that weather is good. Where I stayed, very kind owner's, but no cafes, shops, internet or English spoken so could be very boring in bad weather."

"Location was great not far from the fort and lovley walks beyond. The household were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was great and different every day. Dinner was tasty as well, the ladies did really well in catering for a vegetarian and I was impressed with the standard of cooking. The town is a pleasant place to wander around and the people very friendly. On day2 I took a tour to the Dara vally it was a beautiful walk. I had a great time here and would recomend it to all."
