I stayed 3 nights in Moynaq and I had a meaningful experience visiting this place and connecting with the local community who lives there. Apart from visiting the ships graveyard, I got deeper into the Aral Sea and I saw camels and horses... it was the first time for me to witness those animals completely in the wild and free. Such a magic moment."

"Spacious and comfortable apartment 10 minutes walk from ships graveyard. A little hard to find as there is no sign and it looks nondescript from the outside, but the inside is nice. Rustam was very responsive to messages and ensured everything was in order"

"The son of the owner was very kind and available and organized us transport from Nukus and taxi to the Aral Sea. He was easily reachable and even suggested good restaurants around. I would recommend! 🙂"

"A clean complete appartment well equipped with all you need for a short and peaceful stay. Also close to the Aral Sea museum and the ships. Some people only come for a few hours but come for a day and spend some time in peace in a complete silent surrounding in the dunes of what was once a sea. And then spend the night in peace here, I'm happy that I did it this way. Communication with owner was always good via WhatsApp, also for help with transport. The WiFi and Mobile Internet signal aren't always top but that's mainly due to the town infrastructure. Electricity never failed on the other hand. In early season it might be cold in the night so check first if the blankets are enough for you."

"The apartment of two bedrooms , sitting cum dining room and Kitchen cum utility was all for us. One can even cook your meals here . There is a minimarket just down the road for ingredients . The place is walking distance to the Ship Graveyard and museum . About a km or two from the main market and bus stop. The host gave us inputs on where to eat with the locals and it was great. He arranges for a visit to the Aral sea and back if interested at a decent sum of 150 dollars ( slightly negotiable). Host is available for a chat whenever needed which is helpful."

"The foyer and 4 steps leading to the apartment were dusty but it is part of a 4 storeyed building and hence owner cant be blamed for the same. The apartment itself was very neat and clean ."
