"It was unusually hot (37C) both days we were there. The cabin got roasting hot while we were out and the air conditioning took a long time to have an impact, although it got there in the end."

"This is a 'total escape'! The cabin in the treetops was exactly what we were expecting, plus a little more. The cabin is relatively 'basic', especially the kitchen, but that is what we expected and provided us with everything we needed, and that added to the charm. There are two nice outside deck areas, one with a braai and dining table, which we used both nights, and one withe two loungers, which we also used for reading and to watch the sunset. The bedroom was spacious, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom was also spacious. The feeling of solitude and tranquility was wonderful. Plenty of birds singing in the trees, and the occasional chatter of the Vervet Monkeys out there somewhere! We hiked all the trails leading from the cabin through the forest, which was most enjoyable. The staff were wonderful, very friendly, helpful, and professional. We would certainly go back again and stay for 3 nights, rather than two!"

"The terrain to and from the cabin was a bit worrying with a light motor vehicle (car)- especially when it started to rain. But managed to get out okay."

"We ordered breakfast in our room, which we enjoyed on the morning of our wedding. We even got a flat tyre, which the staff NOTICED and FIXED within an hour. Ant, the owner, personally made sure everything went perfectly with our food and venue. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back as soon as possible. This will always be our happy place! Next time we will be bringing our doggy. The Turacos visited all of my guests! Who were all very well taken care of. The owners mom made us a wedding cake which is the absolute HIGHLIGHT of our wedding for everyone. Without a doubt."

"We LOVED everything. But my dad was a bit scared of the bugs. Don't come if you can't handle nature at its purest. The cabins are in the forest. The bugs won't hurt you!"

"Such a peaceful place to stay. The tent is well equipped and very comfortable. The highlights of the visit were the sunset views the total dark sky, so amazing for stargazing and the visit from the Knysna Loerie. It was there at sunset and appeared first thing in the morning. We spotted it through the mosquito net from our bed."

"It was a charming tented cottage in the woods. A real gem. Beautiful views . Watched rugby in the bar with very nice owners and then went home and had a braai on the deck. . Stunning walk in the forest. We loved it and highly recommend it 🫶"
