"Very specious rooms with big bathroom and balcony. They do good cleaning if you leave a sign at your door and also they leave one bottle of water for you. Very friendly and helpful stuff and very nice breakfasts. Special thanks to Zulfie - woman who works in kitchen. She creates very tasty breakfasts with variety of freshly baked different local pastry. There is ready made hot tea which you can come and take any time throughout your day. I felt like at home at Smith’s hotel. Thank you so much!"

"The sound isolation with the outside (street) is good. But the sound isolation inside the hotel (between rooms) is not perfect. So if you are picky about sound, I would recommend using earplugs. But to make it clear : this is not the hotel's fault if other guests are noisy..."

"My stay at Smiths was fantastic. The staff was incredibly cooperative and helpful. Maryum, who worked in housekeeping, was always ready to assist us whenever we called for cleaning help. Jaffer, the manager, provided us with excellent administrative support whenever we needed it. Saeed, who acted as our tour guide throughout our stay, went above and beyond. He guided us in various areas, from finding the most affordable taxi service to recommending the best tourist attractions in Baku. He even helped us discover the cheapest and most delicious local food. Saeed was truly exceptional. Additionally, there were two other receptionists named Kamil and Timaoor who were equally awesome. They played a crucial role in arranging our final taxi to the airport. I still remember how they skillfully negotiated and ensured we got the most cost-effective option. Overall, the hotel and its staff were remarkable, and I would love to visit again. Baku and its people have won my heart!"
