"1) Perfect location for those who want to explore the island, stay away from the tourist hot spot and experience “real” Aruba. 2) The house is very atmospheric and cozy, with lots of wooden furniture, an old wooden staircase that creaks charmingly, and a balcony from where you can observe iguanas on a large ficus tree just a few meters away. 3) Ingrid is an amazing host and a lovely person. She gave us great travel advice and was there when needed, without being intrusive. 4) Breakfast was just amazing!"

No hot water didn’t come as a surprise since we had read the reviews. Even though it’s common in Aruba, it’s worth mentioning.

"Ubytování naprosto splnilo naše očekávání . Především nás mile překvapilo velmi vstřícné a pozorné jednání paní manažerky. Cítili jsme se jako doma. Vše bylo s úsměvem. Snídaně i když se vlastně opakovaly, byly výživné a ovoce velmi chutné. Když jsme potřebovali snídani dříve abychom stihli ranní potápění, vždy nám ochotně vyšli vstříc. Byl to perfektní pobyt."

Hélas clim défectueuse mais hôte réactif en nous proposant un ventilateur très silencieux et ce fut très bien.

"The host, Andrae was super friendly and helpful, I was able to check in a bit late, he also organised an early morning taxi for me to get to the airport. The location is great, right in the middle of Philipsburg and just minutes walk from the beach. You're surrounded by restaurants and shops. Price was excellent."

Room and amenities are simple, but for this price and location you can't complain.

The light is too dim.

"The place is nicely decorated, very tidy and in a quiet safe area but little far from the sea. For people which like waliking like me is ok. Also can rent bike for free. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok and you could also order some food for lunch at a good price. Manja is an excellent cook and prepares local specialties. Internet was mostly ok. The pool was clean and a very relaxing place to spend time."

Sometimes a problem with taxis. Some of them don't know this place. You have to negotiate the price which can be very diffrent. (from 100 to 500 dalasies).

"I checked out the room and then in the airport I got the news that my flight was delayed for 5 hours. I came back in the hotel and they allowed me to stay in my room. Thanks for understanding. The hotel doesn't offer food though they recommended the good restaurant nearby. They have a driver to arrange a transfer when necessary. So nice when we were in a rush to the airport!I"

I would recommend to renew towels. They were clean but old.

"The traditional Cypriot style and the charming little decorations perfectly matched my taste. The small balcony outside the room was so cute and cozy. The homemade meal had a unique flavor I had never experienced before and made me feel healthy. The hosts were very kind and happily explained the village bus schedule and how to get to our destinations. They gave my sister and me an unforgettable memory. "The family that runs this Pansion was very kind, from the very beginning till we left the place. They showed us a map and gave directions to S. James Church and other places to visit, which was very useful. They made us a delicious dinner late at night, and a home style breakfast. They are a very welcoming family, Thank you!"

"Location is ok, 10 minutes walk to Somerset MRT station. Cleanness was ok, not spotted but acceptable. Air conditioning worked well. As the cheapest private room with private bathroom in the whole city this place is worth its price. Good contact with owner via whatsapp. I would come back."

The owner does not treat this place like a hotel, so for example, toilet paper is replaced by the guests themselves.

"Opravdu milý hostitel. Paní připravovala každý den snídani, která byla báječná a vždy jsme snídali něco jiného. Atmosféra byla přátelská a měli jsme možnost poznat i ostatní hosty z celého světa. "Cleanliness, facilities (fully equipped kitchen, common areas, outdoor space, hand laundry and drying facilities, bikes for free, also SUP, parking for rented car, good strong hot shower and many bathrooms/wc), equipment, strong and reliable Wi-Fi, very good location (supermarkets, Main Street, Friday night market and park, museum and Long Beach all at walking/bike distance), good AC both in the room and in the living room. Excellent communication with the owner/manager Jee before, during and after the stay, very responsive, extremely helpful (day trips, recommendations, plugins adaptors, etc) and friendly. Very quiet. We stayed for 8 nights but we have stayed much longer, ideal for long stays and probably the best quality/price ratio in Koror. I really recommend! (And contrary to other reviews, indeed there are a few dogs in the neighbourhood but they don’t cause any problem)"

"Modern, clean, self contained with bedrooms having on-suite bathrooms which also provided convenience and privacy. minimalistic though everything you expect from a hotel accommodation/apartment we had , elements from the spa were also included dressing, gowns and slippers, beach towels. The air conditioning throughout the rooms was great keeping us cool when relaxing in such a hot period of the year"

"Friendly owner, clean place, comfortable bed, basic kitchen appliances in the room, as well as in the shared kitchen. Nice little outside seating areas. Quiet location, walking distance to the ferry. You can also rent a car from the owner should you need one."

Not much space in the room to move around, the on suite bathroom was a bit uncomfortable (really just a lil plastic box in the room, kinda see thru and if you wanna take a shower, everything gets wet and the room gets humid) so we opted for the shared bathroom in the hallway. The fan in the shared kitchen didn't work and there aren't many plates/bowls etc.

"Great breakfast and I like that it was a la carte. I can't say enough about it nor about the staff. Everyone was very courteous, professional, helpful, and accommodating. I also loved the location, only a few minutes from Palais Sans-Souci and Citadelle."

The air conditioning was rationed a bit much

"This hotel was absolutely charming. Everything felt easy and relaxed, and everyone was incredibly helpful and chill from the moment I arrived. I loved my room, the beach, the food… honestly, everything. A special mention to Rudi at the breakfast restaurant — she was truly lovely and made my morning better with the delicious mimosa she prepared for me. I ended up extending my stay by one more night, and the team helped me move everything seamlessly to my new room. Since it was raining and I was leaving that day, they even proactively offered to put some of my clothes in the dryer because they had been hanging outside, which was such a thoughtful touch. I can’t wait to go back. Waking up to those views is something I’ll never forget — everything was just perfect."

"The kindness of Elen and John was above and beyond what you could ever expect . Elen made us an excellent dinner . She also let us keep our room through the next day so that we had somewhere to return to to shower after a day out ( our flight home was in the evening) . These are good people."
