"My son and I spent three weeks traveling around Puerto Rico and this was a wonderful addition to our trip. I love Pitahaya's focus on sustanability and eco traveling, the exclusion of single use water bottles (BRAVO) and attention to composting and recycling. This is something rarely seen on the island and greatly needed. The mattress in the tent was very comfortable and I absolutely loved showing under the stars. A great way to camp if you are unable to bring your personal camp gear or are simply looking for a more comfortable camping experience."

The main light in our tent would only last for a few seconds. We weren't aware that it was motion activated and that made it challenging to play board games and read at night.

"Náš nejlepší pobyt v Kambodži! Cestování autobusem bylo trochu komplikovanější, ale stálo to za to. Všichni zaměstnanci byli tak neuvěřitelně milí. Dokonce nám pomohli s transferem na ostrov Koh Rong, za což jsme velmi vděční 🙏 . Stany byly luxusní, nechybělo vůbec nic. Postele pohodlné. Snídaně i večeře vynikající. Okolí úžasné. Rybky vám udělají zdarma masáž, za kterou ve městě platíte. K dispozici byl kajak, který jsme mohli využívat neomezeně. Skvělý byl i ranní trek do džungle. A večerní výlet za světluškami byl dechberoucí. Celkově je toto místo nádherné, výborné k odpočinku a určitě stojí za návštěvu."

"Everything from the transfer drive in the lodge 4x4 and boat hop to the island was first class. Our tented accommodation was superb. Loved the outside shower (there is an internal shower). The included game drives and river cruise were fantastic and our guides were friendly and informative. Hippos in the river close by, monkeys in the trees. You really feel you are in the bush. Food, superb. Service, superb. Full stocked mini bar. Seating area around the fire pit, amazing. I could go on all day with positives. Highly recommend 👌"

Having to leave

"The entire setup was gorgeous. Felt like a true camp. They added a lovely touch by providing big kettle in a common area which was on simmer heat with unlimited Jordanian tea. We opted for a dinner as well which was extra. Dinner buffet had a nice selection of salads and dips. They only offered one lamb, one chicken and one rice with potatoes dish. Lamb was delicious from a buffet standard. Chicken was too dry which was a shame as falvour was nice. Rice and potatoes were decent too. Only thing is they should include atleast water in buffet as standard. Lastly location seems be right on the edge of wadi rum dessert. It's about 40 mins drives from wadi rum village."

We had a buddle tent. It was modern and looks very elegant. However the floor of bubble tent was a bit dusty. I am not sure weather this was because of lack of cleaning or bubble tents are not perfectly sealed. Other than that our bathroom had no shower certain. So when one person took a shower entire bathroom got flooded. They did provide us with a floor wiper when we requested it. If they install a shower certain or shower glass, this bathroom would be perfect. Lastly we didn't get hot water. Apparently, you need to request the reception who then switch on the boiler. Given there are no phones inside the room, one has to go all the way to reception to get hot water turned on.

"Útulná, vyzdobená jurta, možnost připojit el. vařič, možnost zatopit si. V jurtě bylo v noci v červenci teplo, k dispozici deky, polštáře, povlečení. Milý pan domácí (jak online, tak jeho syn osobně). Možnost posnídat v krytých příštřešcích. Ve 4 jsme se do jurty bezproblému všeli, místa bylo dost. Jurta je vybavená nádobím, matracemi."

"This place is incredible. We had elephants around the lodge every day and the safaris were outstanding. We managed to see 4 of the Big Five in just two nights, plus wild dogs, cheetahs, and much more. Absolutely recommended!"

"Very nice view onto the valley and the volcano. We were watching the stars and shooting stars from the very comfortable bed. Although it was cold outside, the blankets and heater keep you warm. The jacuzzi was nice as well."

The water in the jacuzzi is warm but not hot, but it wasn’t bad and totally acceptable for being in the middle of nowhere.

"The location of the camp is amazing. The host/driver picked us up in Douz and drove around 120Km in the desert. The ride was crazy, if you have motion sickness, be prepared. The dinner in the camp was really really good, better than our expectation. The starry night was also stunning, we saw so many stars in the pitch black night. The hosts were also nice."

To be fair, both our driver and host doesn't really speak English, so communiation was kinda poor. To me the ride in the desert was a bit too much, I felt dizzy the whole day after. Lastly, the price was also quite high - one night for a camp 140 euro plus 140 euro for the desert ride which is not included in the booking price page.

The thing about having points in access card to take shower, it’s not needed, people who are doing camping are nature friendly enough to do not waste water.

"Skvělé místo - ubytování v jurtě je velmi neobvyklé a příjemné. Skvělá kuchařka- všechna jídla vynikající. V okolí možnost pěších výletů bez davů turistů. Opravdu velmi příjemný a ochotný personál připravený na veškeré přání a potřeby hostů. Večerní táborák. V létě by se dal využívat krásný bazén. Možnost udělat si v jidelně kdykoliv čaj nebo kávu. Společné toalety a WC ok."

Trochu komplikovanější a dražší doprava do místa. Zpáteční cestu do ,,civilizace'' už personál zařídí.

"My stay at Para un poquito was wonderful, the hosts Flor and Joel are very welcoming, nice and helpful in any situation, they know and love the place. The situation right on the beach is idyllic, you literally go out of your room and are on the beach. I'd definitely recommend this place."

"Amazing remote location but still easily accessible! Like a barefoot oasis where everything felt very personal and intimate. The rooms are stunning, facing the river. At night it felt like being one with nature. Will highly recommend to all my friends and family!"

"Great host, with good energy, who picked me up from quay. His accommodation was only 10 minutes away. I slept in a tent with a very good, firm mattress. Not soft. In the afternoon it can be hot in the tent, so this makes it difficult to do a nap. A camping stove is available, so this was very welcomed. Onside a nice relaxing beach, where you can enjoy the water with paddling, just swimming or gaze at the ocean. During the night this area was quiet. Bathroom is near the house and supplies cold and hot water. He knows where to get good food, and cheap transport. A mosquito net may be handy next time. I really recommend this place."
