Old barn turned into magical place- full of character.

"Small authentic hotel with a beautiful view of the tea plantations. We booked a bungalow with a balcony, bathroom and bedroom. Breakfast was good, but we waited for dinner for more than 1.5 hours."

It was cold in the room, shower doesn't work

In unserem Zimmer war es sehr feucht&kalt.

"Es hat mir alles gefallen! Ich habe mit meinen zwei Jungs für 4 Nächte im Heu übernachtet. Die Vermieterin ist super freundlich! Der wunderbare Garten hat uns jeden Tag neues entdecken lassen, die Tiere waren toll. Ich habe nichts auszusetzen!"

Leute, die meinen für den günstigen Preis ein 10 Sterne Luxushotel erwarten zu müssen! Wer es klinisch rein haben möchte, sollte in die Stadt fahren und in ein Hotel gehen, nicht aufs Land, auf einen Bauernhof mit Tieren und Heu für ein paar Euro die Nacht!

"Khulan was super helpful, professional and spoke good English. Her advice and organisation was excellent. It was friendly, relaxing and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Turtle rock was a good hike that took about 4.5hrs there and back, but hiking anywhere in the national park was spectacular. Luckily the weather was sunny and warm. Visiting the Chinggis Khaan Statue on the way from Ulaanbaatar prior to check-in worked well."

Nothing. Just remember it’s a camp site.

"Super kemp, bydleli jsme v karavanu pro 2 osoby 4 noci a moc jsme si to užili. Skromné, ale pohodlné, fajn zařízené. Rychlovarná konvice a pár skleniček a talířů k dispozici. V karavanu jsme měli dokonce vlastní wc a malé umyvadlo, což bylo veliké plus. Do centra 10-15 minut procházkou a obchod s potravinami hned vedle kempu. Klidné a relaxační místo, moc rádi se sem vrátíme."

Nefungovala nám lednička a plynové hořáky v kuchyni se nesmí používat, takže bez vaření. V kempu je ale k dispozici společná kuchyně.

"It’s location was amazing with great views of Pico Cao Grande. The food was delicious and plentiful."

Things were a little disorganised. Wifi only worked near the main restaurant hut.

"The road to Carbunari is not the best one, but can be approached with any type of car. The accommodation is setup in a very nice setting, the wooden cabins are close to the forest and the whole place is at the end of the road. No neighbours, no noise, only nature! The owners are awesome people, and they are doing their best to make their guests feel like home. We rarely say this, but we’d be very happy to see them again!"

The road from Oravita is pretty bad, but the one from Bozovici is decent, even tho unpaved.

"Paní domácí nás ubytovala když jsme museli nečekaně opustit jiné ubytování. Doslova do 30 minut jsme bydleli zde. Paní domácí je velmi vlídná a pozorná. A protože byly Vánoce, spolu s pokojskou nám dokonce nachystaly i vánoční stromeček a našim dětem daly drobné dárečky. Ze služeb bych vyzdvihl úklid apartmánu jednou za 2-3 dny. Paní pokojská nám i důkladně urovnala a nazdobila naše věci. Zahradník uklízel kolem domu a pečoval o rostliny každý den. Personál perfektní a ochotný! Parkování ve dvoře a dálkově ovládaná brána super."

Klimatizace v jedné ložnici blbla a jela občas na plný výkon.

"Amazing position, right on the beach, immersed in nature. Managed by a gentle and polite family. Good wifi outside of the caravan. Recommended if you are looking for a caravan experience right on the beach and if you are willing to adapt."

The price we payed, due to the Booking.com platform fees, was overall too high with respect to the quality of the accommodation. There were many ants in our caravan (also in the bed). The floor was all covered with moquette (toilet included), which is not very hygienic, especially because the environment tends to get humid. Some windows were broken. Overall, I would suggest a better maintenance.

"Skvělé ubytování v apartmánu. Sympatický manažer kempu, Mr.Victor a výborná paní kuchařka. Chutné večeře i snídaně. Výlet k Zpívající duně byl zajištěn historickým vanem Stayer. Vše bezvadné, děkujeme."

"Byl jsem mile překvapený personálem,který i přes nápor lidí vše zvládl z přehledem a všude bylo čisto a příjemné prostředí určitě se tam zase vrátíme."

"Malý rodinný kemp. Majitel příjemný, ochotný. Večer posezení u pivka, kdo chtěl, tak i s večeří. Bazén k dispozici večer i ráno. Naprostý klid a uvolnění. Spali jsme ve svém autě. K snídani vejce, uzeniny, sýr, rajče.. vše domácí a naprosto úžasná švestková marmeláda."

Záchody a sprchy v kabinkách vedle sebe, ale čisté.

"Ubytování bylo připravené, krásné čisté. Pohodlné “postele” vsechno nám přišlo nové a opravdu čisté. V kempu máte všechno od značky Frosh plně k dispozici, jar, mýdla, sprchové gely. Je tam i bazén, který je otevřený v určité časy. U hl. budovy je i možnost si zakoupit zeleninu, olej, čerstvá vajíčka apod. V kempu je absolutní klid. Kuchyň super vybavena a vždy čistá! Jako rodina to tam doporučujeme každému. Vše je ve stínu a je to opravdu příjemné místo."

Je to opravdu daleko a cesta tam je trosku nekomfortní. Jedete po šotolině a není to na to, aby jste jezdili za den 10x pryč, ale pokud si to naplánujete jako my a odjedete z kempu dopoledne a na večer se vracíte, tak vám to v důsledku vůbec nevadí.

"I really enjoyed staying at Camping La Y Griega, in Bocas del Toro. For me, the location is perfect because it is a bit further away from town (which can be very noisy), making the atmosphere much calmer and more peaceful. In addition, the two buses that go to the main destinations on the island stop right in front: to Playa Bluff or towards Bahía Dragón and Playa Estrella. Taxis to town cost 1 dollar. There are affordable options for both rooms and tents. The tents are set up on wooden platforms in a very cozy space with hammocks and sofas. The place is well maintained, with a beautiful garden and a fully equipped kitchen. Howler monkeys pass by very often, and you can also see hummingbirds, which makes the atmosphere even more special. The owner, Johny, is very attentive and friendly, and the volunteers are also very kind and helpful. If I return to Bocas del Toro, I will definitely stay there again. I highly recommend it."

"We had the most amazing stay. Everything was magic. The sound of the river and rain hitting the wagon was magical while you slept. The ducks quacking and running around was so entertaining and the scones on arrival was such a personal touch. We will be returning very soon. The kids would love it 🥰"

The location is removed from the main part of town. A short taxi ride will get you into the city.

"The stay was amazing in a beautiful place next to the laguna. The family is more than welcoming and we had a great moment together for diner. Thanks a lot!"
