"When we received the keys, we were given all the necessary information about our stay. The owner was very kind and even offered us an apartment with a better view. I really appreciate that what I saw in the photos was actually even nicer in reality. The chalet looks exactly like in the pictures (including the equipment) and so does the surrounding area. The location is absolutely perfect for hiking trips – if you want to visit the Logar Valley or Velika Planina, it’s about a 90-minute drive by car. I also appreciated the convenient parking right next to the chalet."

Le bungalow est très simple et très agréable mais mériterait d'être un peu mieux équipé en rangement..

"This accommodation is absolutely wonderful! The house is beautiful and very clean. Even though there is no air conditioning, it stays surprisingly cool. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are also dogs, cats, and chickens on the property, which we really enjoyed. They are super sweet. The property manager, Jésus, is such a kind person. He is always available and happy to help if you need anything. I would definitely recommend this place."

The only downside is that it can get quite noisy. Every morning around six, the school bus drives through the main street honking loudly. There are also a lot of trucks passing by, which can be pretty noisy. On top of that, the rooster loves standing right next to the bedroom window to wake you up. Since there is a school next door, you will also hear music and kids early in the morning.

"This house with vast garden close to Tirana but in the middle of fields and hills is a true get away. Its so spacious, bright, has an amazing view and the wooden feel makes it extra comfy. The outdoor space, gated parking are magnificent. Communicatiom with the host was very pleasant and helpful. Would DEFINITELY come back here again! Thanks!"

"Kvůli omezeným možnostem převozu potravin letadlem a příletu uprostřed silvestrovské noci jsme uvítali drobné občerstvení na uvítanou: výborné nakládané domácí olivy, mandarinky, suchary, med."

Nebyl jsem si jistý se správností zaparkování našeho vozidla. Pro nás z oblastí kde máme stabilní velkokapacitní nádoby na permanentní horkou vodu, je nezvyklý způsob dosažení teplé vody z vodovodu. Teplá voda začne téci až po chvíli a po prudkém spuštění.

"Gmundnerberghaus is a hidden gem. The cottage is incredibly tidy, cozy, and well-maintained. The views of the green hills surrounding the property are absolutely stunning and provide a perfect backdrop for relaxation. A major plus: the actual location and atmosphere are even better than the pictures suggest! The photos on the website are modest compared to the wonderful reality. Highly recommended for a peaceful and beautiful escape."

"The view was really good with the little terrace in front of the room, I like to have a view. AC was powerful. It was also very very quiet. No noise except the roosters."

Others need to be mindful it's down a steep hill from the main street then up a steep unlit track - bring a flashlight not just phone light. Tricycles pick up at the bottom of the hill.

"La cabaña es preciosa. Está muy bien equipada tanto dentro como fuera de la casa. Contacto directo con la naturaleza."

A nosotros nos tocaron días de lluvia y la calle para llegar se pone bastante difícil de transitar. Lo único que no funcionaba bien es la canilla de la cocina, que estaba suelta.

"The villa was very warm and comfy ! It had all the kitchen equipments needed,even more than expected, if you want u can take food and cook it there. The oven, the wooden heater, the refrigerator,air conditioning, the nice views from the verandas ! Everything was great!"

"Dobré umístění, srub vypadá moc hezky. Lokalita dobrá. Poblíž Wangu a nedaleko wellness a restaurací. Parking dostačující."

Není zde moc soukromí. Je vhodné spíše pro 2 osoby. Veškerý prostor srubu je otevřený, ložnice bez dveří společně s kuchyní/obývakem. Manželská postel - velmi měkké matrace. Ostatní spaní na rozkládacích gaučích. Slyšíte kohokoliv kdo se jen otočí na posteli. Sauna i přes několik telefonátů se správcem a jedné návštěvě lze vytopit jen cca na 50 stupně.

"It’s super secluded! Very quiet. Had facilities from the 90s for kids and family to roam, cycle or just simply walk by the river. The family running the place are very welcoming. Great for fam with young kids"

The property is generally old, not that it’s not well kept but I think it’s kept as best as they can.
