"We loved this place - set out in the middle of the rain forest with little other than toucans, howler monkeys, bats and agouti for company. I admit that if you are looking for a bland, all inclusive resort - La Ceiba may not be for you. But if you you want to sleep in the rainforest then this place is beyond perfect. There's a decent track about 400m long from where you park to the accommodation. It is lit at night - watch out for snakes and you'll definitely see frogs."

Just a suggestion - you should promote the work of the Jaguar Rescue Center more. We stayed here partly because the money is used to help wildlife - but many people may not make that connection and so may not go and visit the JRC

A nosotros nos tocaron días de lluvia y la calle para llegar se pone bastante difícil de transitar. Lo único que no funcionaba bien es la canilla de la cocina, que estaba suelta.

"I liked everything about the property. It felt like a peaceful oasis away from the hectic life of the local area. The villas are well equipped for cooking which I managed to do quite happily. All the staff were particularly helpful, professional and pleasant in their approach. I have to mention Miss Erika, the property administrator who couldn’t do enough to make me feel welcomed and comfortable. Also, Maria would clean and tidy my villa so well, which always made my surroundings so pleasant. Even Digno, the security guy, was very helpful and carried my suitcases when I left. I was very happy with the price I paid to stay in this property."

"La cabane est de très bonne qualité, spacieuse avec un pont qui donne sur une petite terrasse. Un salon est également à disposition sous la cabane avec un bbq. La cabane est très bien agencée avec ce qu’il faut, notamment un grand frigo, de la vaisselle et de quoi faire la cuisine. L’endroit est très bien situé au calme entre Bouillante et Deshaies. A 50m de la maison cacao et duke plage de galet. Les plages de sable sont entre 7 et 15mn en voiture. L’endroit parfait pour se dépayser. Liliane est une personne formidable qui conseille volontiers et est à dispositions en cas de besoin. Nous avons adorés ce séjour."

"Everything! It’s a paradise, perfectly set up to relax and have adventures. Staff went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Can’t rate this place highly enough"

"Very nice accommodation. Comfortable, clean with all needed amenities and more! The swimming pool is a pleasure and the view on the palm trees, a real treat. The place is very secure, and perfectly located being very close to the city center on one side and restaurants and bars on the other side (few minutes walk).."

Everything was perfect.

Есть все необходимое для кухни и приготовления еды, в том числе летняя кухня на улице. 4. 2 полноценные двуспальные кровати в разных комнатах 5. Отличный пляж, чтобы прогуляться и побегать. 6. Парковка 7. Близость к достопримечательностям на юге 8. В 10 мин езды супермаркет."

1. Не работал телевизор ( обещали заменить у след постояльцам) 2. Пляж не пригоден для купания. Практически всегда отлив. 3. Для проживания в вилле нужно авто.

"Všem doporučujeme. Uz jsme procestovali skoro cepu evropu ale takový luxus za tak málo peněz to jen tak nikde nenajdete. Tak čisto, mily personál na úrovni. Cekali nás už pri příjezdu u auta."

"We had no one around, we could go to the beach, come back relax to the property, the kids was able to refresh themselves in the private pool, it was perfect!"

Since it was in the mountain there was more ants / mosquitos, but the host had all the equipment needed for us to have an enjoyable stay!

"Amazing location, beautiful garden and terrace. Serene setting. Huge fridge, plenty of utensils to cook a meal. Very spacious. Friendly staff who helped me carry my heavy travelling backpack."

Only two towels, which appeared quite stained. Could do with some wine glasses. Maybe a deeper clean of walls and floors, but still felt clean, just not spotless.

"Úžasné ubytování (ubytovatel nám dopředu napsal kudy máme jet, takže jsme se díky němu neztratili). Pán nás přivítal a předal pokoj bez problémů (většinou jsme komunikovali přes zprávy). Potkali jsme i jeho rodiče, kteří byli velmi milí. Chatka byla velmi čistá a útulná- pro přespání po výletování )plně ideální. Dokonce bylo v chatce menu co si můžete objednat snídani a večeři (vše domácí). Měli jsme snídani a ta byla famózní (domácí šunka, sýr, pečivo, vajíčka,....) na večeři jsme si dali palačinky a ty byly taky úžasné."

Nothing wrong with the bungalow, a bit noisy at night, dogs cats. Fully understand can’t be helped

"The cottages are nicely located, with enough space between them for privacy and nearby the river. The hotel restaurant was very nice and convenient, as well as the bread service in the mornings. And the beds were good."

The bathroom was extremely tiny. Literally showering above the toilet, smaller than boat cabin bathrooms! Quite weird for the given space in the cottage. Also the cooking facilities were fairly cramped, you cab only fit 2 small pans if you're lucky. However, it worked out well enough for us. Lastly, there are a lot of playground facilities for the kids, which sounded nice, but they were also located right in front of (most of) the cottages, which can make it quite noisy (depending on which children are playing there).
