Chaty na Svaté Lucii

"Nice and cozy log cabins, good location, quiet and clean. Shower drain clogged - reception staff immediately came and fixed. Transport to the slopes on time, fast and comfortable. Restaurant amazing food, service was a bit slow but no rush in holiday isn’t it ? Good pricing too. ( half price or even more comparing to a meal at a proper restaurant in uk - not Weatherspoons ) Cheaper than Romania comparing to what resort has to offer in Borovets than Poiana Brasov."

Heating was difficult to set in the upstairs bedroom - either too hot either cold. Would love to see some attention to the small details and some improvements with the heating.

There is a small village (Hog Harbour Village) nearby, about a 20 minute walk, where you can buy local bread and fruit. Accommodation is very basic but serves its purpose. Mosquito coils and nets are provided. The local who looked after us, Melody, was very welcoming and kind, and made us delicious breakfasts and dinners. There were no kayaks available but they can be rented from the neighbouring Lonnoc Beach Bungalows."

Drainage in the shower is poor and the floor quickly becomes wet and muddy. Facilities are very worn out. The room has no shelving to put your belongings; this would be a great improvement. If you are on a budget, keep in mind that pretty much the only food options in the area are the restaurants at the lodge or at neighbouring accommodations, where a meal costs 1500-2000 vatu per person. The food is delicious though and there are local dishes - the paw paw curry was phenomenal.

"It was so peaceful, and the staff were brilliant and very welcoming. Such a perfect location on the hillside looking over the lake. The accommodation was super comfortable, it was difficult to leave!"

"Naprosto úžasné! Bohužel počasí jsme neměli ideální, takže bylo vlhko i uvnitř, ale chatka měla vše co potřebujete (velkou TV s možností přihlášení na Netflix, WiFi, Klima pro vyhřátí, bazén-když bylo hezky). Snídani vám donesli v čase o který jste požádali. Byli jsme zde 2 noci a obě rána byla snídaně jiná."

On the other hand, we used public transportation, but I would suggest to rent a car if you are a group of 3 or 4. We had a really good stay, so we highly recommend Casa Chiquito :)"

Nothing, everything was fine. Just for the sake of continuous improvement, it’d be good if the draining of the shower could be improved but I can imagine it is significant work (it is certainly not critical at all, though).

"The view was really good with the little terrace in front of the room, I like to have a view. AC was powerful. It was also very very quiet. No noise except the roosters."

Others need to be mindful it's down a steep hill from the main street then up a steep unlit track - bring a flashlight not just phone light. Tricycles pick up at the bottom of the hill.

"The cottages are nicely located, with enough space between them for privacy and nearby the river. The hotel restaurant was very nice and convenient, as well as the bread service in the mornings. And the beds were good."

The bathroom was extremely tiny. Literally showering above the toilet, smaller than boat cabin bathrooms! Quite weird for the given space in the cottage. Also the cooking facilities were fairly cramped, you cab only fit 2 small pans if you're lucky. However, it worked out well enough for us. Lastly, there are a lot of playground facilities for the kids, which sounded nice, but they were also located right in front of (most of) the cottages, which can make it quite noisy (depending on which children are playing there).

"This is a place where everything works -- gas, electric, water. Enough pots and pans for everyone. We enjoyed the stay. The place was clean, sheets were clean, towels and soap present, and there was working cleaning tools to keep the place clean. The host had thought of everything. The WiFi was superb. And the park outside is well-maintained and enjoyable."

A work desk was missed. Indoor parking not available, but the are is quite safe and secure.

Peut-être une taille des arbres plus adéquate, mais on est à la montagne alors restons nature!

"Ubytování splnilo očekávání. Výhodou je bazén, kde se můžete ochladit i ve večerních hodinách. Chaty jsou vzdáleny cca 600 m od zastávky autobusu a jde se do prudkého kopce, myslete na to)Výhodou je krásný výhled a klidné umístění v "džungli". Elise nám zařídila i odvoz do obchodu a při odjezdu i odvoz na autobus, moc děkujeme. Byla ve všem moc nápomocná a komunikace s ní přes Whatsupp byla rychlá a bezproblémová. Vzhledem k ceně toto ubytování doporučuji."

"Nádherné ubytování v srdci přírody, které předčilo naše očekávání. Chaloupky Alpik mají skvělou polohu – jen pár kroků od jezera Bohinj a řeky Savica, obklopené horami a lesy. Ideální výchozí bod pro pěší túry, cyklovýlety i relaxaci v přírodě. Apartmán byl stylově zařízený, čistý a útulný, s krásným výhledem na okolní hory. Oceňujeme plně vybavenou kuchyň, pohodlnou postel i moderní koupelnu. Skvělým bonusem byla možnost objednat si bohinjskou snídani přímo na pokoj – lokální produkty, čerstvé pečivo, sýr a domácí marmelády nás opravdu potěšily. Personál byl velmi milý, vstřícný a ochotný s čímkoli poradit. Vše probíhalo hladce od rezervace až po odjezd. Pokud hledáte klid, krásnou přírodu a kvalitní ubytování s lokálním kouzlem, Alpik je naprosto perfektní volba. Rádi se sem vrátíme."

"Lovely atmosphere and had all the facilities we needed. It was dark when we arrived making it a bit difficult to find however we managed to contact the manager and were guided to the property. There was no restaurant or cafe within walking distance but the young man who welcomed us went out of his way to go and get dinner and bring it back for us. A peaceful and comfortable stay. I would recommend this place."

There was no signpost on the main road to give directions. Not so bad during the day but necessary at night.

"This was such a beautiful stay! Everything is very clean and spacious, we loved the big shower in the bathroom and the overall design of this place :) Breakfast was also so nice and abundant! There's also a common area with kitchen if you need to + board games, very cosy especially if you're not so lucky with the weather like us. The pool seemed really nice but unfortunately we couldn't use it because it was too windy and cloudy when we were there."
