Food not so inspiring

"Pěkný, čistý, dostatečně vybavený a celkově k hostům přátelský hotel. Pokoj byl velký, koupelna zcela nová a čistá. Snídaně až překvapivě na místní poměry bohatá a různorodá. Hotel je prakticky v centru města. Poměr cena - výkon zcela nepřekonatelný v dané lokalitě."

"Jídlo bylo vynikající a velký výběr. Personál v restauraci byl v první polovině báječný, milý, usměvavý a velmi přátelský. Poté, co se vyměnila směna tam byli číšníci, kteří si nás moc nevšímali. Asi bych nemusela mít 2x týdně jídlo mimo restauraci na pláži. To mi přišlo zbytečné a nekomfortní jak pro hosty tak pro personál."

Personál na recepci byl velmi neochotný a nedostatečně řešil problémy s klimatizací, případně požadovanou slevou za pobyt v důsledku tekoucí a neopravené klimatizace. Slunečníky a lehátka jsou dost blízko sebe, takže když si vedle vás lehne někdo cizí, kdo třeba kouří nebo má nahlas puštěnou hudbu nebo fotbal, tak je to velmi rušivé. Také by stálo za to, aby alespoň několikrát v týdnu uklidil personál řasy vyplavené spolu odpadky na pláži, byla by tak čistší i voda na koupání. Byla jsem moc zklamaná, že tam hned vedle hotelu parkují vodní skútry, které smrdí, jsou hlučné a často jezdili velmi nebezpečně, když plavete v moři. O močení domorodých na kameny a skály přímo na pláži ani nemluvím. Je to škoda, že se to místo takto zkazilo. Před 10 lety to byla oáza klidu.

"Lovely spot. Pool and beach fabulous. Our beachfront room was great, comfy beds and room had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly, lots of laughs and great service. Restaurant meals and breakfasts were delicious. Spa massage was simply divine! We loved our stay thank you 🤩"

"Hotel má prostorné hezké pokoje, čisté a pohodlné. Moc příjemný a vstřícný personál. Skvělá poloha, u Metra a většina míst, které jsme chtěli vidět byli v docházkové vzdálenosti."

"Apparently we got upgraded which was great, very large executive 1 bedroom. Ocean View was nice, pool area on roof was great. Quiet"

Only issue was the shower, hot and cold temp faulty, water pressure poor.

Some of the dinner service staff were not particularly professional - demure, inattentive, lacking humour.. Not what you'd expect for such a high class establishment.

Please note the hotel is about a 30 minute walk from the main square and public taxis are very few. To get around, you need to have a Mongolian SIM to use the taxi apps, master the bus system, of hitchhike

Prices are very high, but the normal for French Guyana. Kourou is not a city for pedestrians. So, there is no good location - everything is far for a walk. By car, it is really close to the space center.

"The shuttle bus from the airport was on site when we arrived and very comfortable after the plane ride. Check in was quick and the staff was amazing. Our room was exceptionally clean and the bed was comfortable."

"Hotel se nachází na kopci a není úplně snadno k nalezení ve spletitých ulicích. Poskytuje ovšem nádherný výhled i pěkný bazén a posezení v restauraci. pokoje jsou čisté, pohodlné, ale jsou menší. Výhodou je parkování přímo u hotelu."

Pozornost obsluhy v restauraci by mohla být větší, a když v jídelním lístku nabízejí frapé překvapí, když číšník netuší, co chcete. Ale je to drobnost v jinak příjemném hotelu.

"Přímo u pláže, snídaně vydatné, na střeše bazén, fitko, vířivka. Dobra lokalita k prozkoumání severu ostrova."

Hotel nemá zahradu, balkónky nejsou moc vhodné k večernímu posezení.

"Snídaně velký a pestrý výběr. Kvalitní výrobky. Velký výběr džusů a čajů."

Shlukování mladých okolo snídaňových stolů, i když si nic nevybíraly. Po upozornění vůbec nereagovaly.

"Ibis is many times so and so in Europe, but this one was a positive surprise! The very friendly staff and kitchen made a late dinner even we arrived at the closing time of the restaurant! Rooms 'Ibistiny' but clean and good beds!"

"Ubytování absolutně výjimečné, pro sólo cestovatele byl pokoj největší co jsem kdy zažila. Blízko do centra či na MHD, taky k obchodům a restauracím. Vedlejší kavárnu “Castle tea” co patří k hotelu jsem si zamilovala."

The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. They provided excellent recommendations and assistance with arranging tours."

Honestly, there's nothing to complain about. The hotel delivered on all fronts and provided an exceptional experience throughout our stay.

Very small rooms, food options r limited and very expensive, exchange rate at reception is very poor, toiletries in room is very limited, not easy to find a taxi, no mini markets/shops around.

The need for transportation if you wanted to go anywhere else.

"I want to talk about only one topic regarding my hotel stay. I want to talk about the towels in the bathroom. The towels are very large, very white, and very thick. They wrap the body with so much love. Yes, true love. It's a real home."
