"This is not a standard hotel or gite or whatever, this is a special place. Expect no luxury here, this is not what Karims guesthouse is about. It is about being in a small village and in nature. Basically, this is as close to a home stay as you can book on Booking. You can choose a room or the stilted house (recommended) in a garden full of interesting plants. Your water comes from a well or the river, your coffee directly from the bushes around you, and the food from...actually I don't know where, but it is amazing. One of the Kpime waterfalls is just a short, but nice walk away, and you can roam the village or take a long walk to Yikpa waterfall (~4 h one way). And when you come back, you lay in a hammock with a fresh and local cocoa or sit in the garden. And the best, you don't need to be in Kpalime, with all the chaos, noise, and smells. Although it is something different, I really enjoyed my stay. Karim is a fantastic host and La montagne verde exactly my type of stay."

Just be aware what you are booking, and there is nothing negative about it.

When making the booking for 2 or 3 bedroom, booking.com must state that the other room in the mansion are also simulataneously for rent with strangers. This can be an unexpected suprise for those who wants to spend family time specially since the kitchen and living room are to be shared.

"What an amazing place to stay. the house is beautiful and well decorated. The pool is amazing and made our holiday. The beds were very comfortable. The showers and bath were also very good. Plenty of cooking utensils and glasses and plates etc."

The meter for the air conditioning was a bit annoying but once I'd got enough coins ok.

For summer months, a fan would be ideal in the room.

Nemohu nic zásadního vytknout, ubytování spíše menší, a proto horší přístup k myčce nádobí.

It was private away from the centre of Vevchani. It felt very homely. We were there in winter and it was great and in summer it would be even better.

"Bylo to z přehledem nejlepší ubytování, které jsme v Thajsku měli (a že jich bylo). Majitelé jsou neuvěřitelně milí a pohostinní. Přestože jsme neměli zaplacenou snídani, trval na tom, že nám ji bude servírovat na pokoj zdarma, což tak činil každý den (a byla skvělá!). Domky jsou uprostřed džungle, okolo jezírka, je to zkrátka romantika. Neváhejte, nebudete litovat. Zažijete to nejlepší z Thajska. Laskavost a pohostinnost."

"The owner was very nice. He made sure that we’re ok and even offered us some food and wine because he was worried that we were hungry😁 It’s good place to stay if you’re interested more in exploring the city and looking for accommodation just to sleep and rest. Nothing more nothing less."

Choose this place only if you have car or love to hike. Unfortunately, we didn’t check and it turned out that to come to this place you need to go up all the time, which is like 3 km. We didn’t have car so we walk there. Of course it’s just our oversight, but i wish it would be written in the description. Nevertheless the views were stunning.

"Ubytování bylo krásně ciste, voňavé, možná i nove. Na pokoji lednička, televize. WIFI zdarma, vybavená kuchyňská linka, v koupelně vše co potřebujete kromě fenu, ale to nevadilo při našem krátkém pobytu."

Bohužel jsme přijeli se psy a pan sám ma pejska, tak to bylo pro nás trošku náročné. Občas sel slyset stekot psů z okolních zahrad, třeba i v noci a kohouti, ale jinak ok...

"Krásné ubytování, prostorný family pokoj, rozdělen dveřmi na dvě ložnice. Klid, ubytování je na soukromém pozemku na louce. Krásná sauna, hřiště pro děti. Výborná snídaně, doporučujeme, jelikož je v ubytování pouze lednička a mikrovlnka, bez příboru, skleničky, snídaně je nejlepší řešení. Koupelna a wc je mimo byt, po příkrých schodech pod chatou, v noci může být problém. Milá majitelka."

Mohl by být plastový kelímek na pití.
