"Our stay at Steigenberger was very pleasant, the same day we started with a spa treatment - the Pharaoh bath, we got a special deal two for one. We had 3 massage therapists who took care of us💆‍♀️Higly recommending it! But let's get back to the beginning, we got welcomed by Ahmed, who gave us a beautiful room with a balcony facing the Nile. For many a dream come true.. You will be welcomed wih a refreshing cold hibiscus tea. The breakfast buffet there has a huge selection and in the evening you can also have a dinner buffet with a view to the Nile if you sit outside. There are two pools, gym, some stores with souvenirs around the hotel and even a swing to take a beautiful sunset picture with a view to the Nile. Thank you Ahmed for your assistance, we felt very welcome thanks to you. 💯☺️"

The surrounding area is poor, but don't be scared, the locals are welcoming and kind. Sometimes you have to be patient so order your breakfast early if you have an adventure day planned.

"Suzy and the other lovely staff spoke good English, helped us book a river cruise and provided other very useful information during our stay. The pricing was very fair, and the location is much better than staying in Yangshuo near West Street. The Chinese breakfast was 25 RMB per person and tasted great, and came with freshly squeezed, sweet tangerine juice! We didn't find it until the last day but there was a water dispenser on the ground floor."

There was a bit of noise from construction/repairs and tree maintenance, but it was only during the day so we mostly missed it, and it was temporary anyway.

"Za všechny moje cesty na Kostariku jsem neměla lepší ubytování. Čistota absolutně neuvěřitelná!! Nádherná chata, neuvěřitelná - 3 terasy - 2 v patře, super kuchyně, vybavená, lednice, káva, cukr a ledová voda v lednici ...při příjezdu vaše srdce bude plesat! A teď ten bonus! Nádherná příroda přímo vedle rezervace....ráno dva druhy tukanů, papoušci, dravci, sovy, kolibříci....no nádhera.....a k tomu ještě tak nesmírně milá hostitelka.......můj nejkrásnější pobyt snad za všechny cesty po celém světě!!! A opravdu jsem toho už procestovala hodně. Cítila jsem se tam jak doma....a pani má i 2 pejsky...oba nekomfliktní, milý, jeden nás byl provázet i po celou naší procházku po okolí.... Opravdu krásné. V krásné přírodě, super čisté, moskytiéry, a postel ...konečně jsem se vyspala. A teplá voda ve sprše samozřejmostí......pokud se někam vrátím, určitě právě sem... Pokud by šlo dát 20 bodů, tak zde!!!"

To ubytování, okolí a hostitelé prostě neměli chybu! Určitě tam pojedu opět!

"The cabin locates in a kibbutz on a mountain, with very nice view over Sea of Galilee. The cabin is surrounded by plants, it is pleasant to wake up and see a scenery full of green. The cabin locates almost at the end of road, so it's quiet. The cabin is a nicely decorated boutique. The host is very helpful, providing plenty of information about the activities and attractions around."

Surprisingly it was still cold on nights of May, probably as the cabin locates on a mountain. The air conditioner was a bit noisy.

"La struttura è a dir poco favolosa, immersa nella natura. Abbiamo soggiornato due notti ma avrei fatto volentieri una settimana. L'appartamento molto grande, con un corridoio che affacciava sulla strada; dalla finestra della camera si vedeva il fiume. Ampio spazio per parcheggio ed inoltre l'host è una persona eccezionale che ha saputo anche consigliarci cosa visitare e dove poter mangiare bene e devo dire che ha superato le aspettative. Stupendo tutto"

Arrivando di sera, quando già il sole era calato, abbiamo trovato la strada - per raggiungere il posto - abbastanza buia. Nessun problema, basta esserne a conoscenza

"Fabulous accomodation, the receptionist/barmaid even upgraded us to the hotel/motel, and gave us two rooms instead of one for no extra cost. What a lovely lady, she was so friendly, couldn't do enough for us. Arrived late for food, kitchen had closed, but she persuaded the chef to cook for us, great super. Instead of leaving early the next day, we decided to stay for the day, and had an amazing mixed grill for lunch. Great swimmimg pool. And everything was so reasonably priced. Can't recommend this place enough."

The fact I had only planned to have the one night there. Loved to have stayed longer :-)

"Beautiful location, nice house, friendly staff, good beds."

We were only informed after booking that we needed to pay extra for the towels, bedlinen and that we needed to pay a deposit. We didn't mind, but I don't like we were only told after booking.

"The property on arrival looked exactly like it's pictures, the staff where friendly and helpful. We meet one of the farm dogs whom took us for a walk across the paddock to the creek where it went for a swim. Back at the ranch we meet the friendly hosts, dinner is a communal affair were you meet the other guests, on our first night was an amazing BBQ of local food. Our hosts enjoyed telling stories around the dinner table, it's here we learnt of the travels of the other guests and their recommendations within Uruguay.The next morning we went for a horse ride and off across the paddock with the dogs we understood why this is the land of the gaucho, the horses are so well trained and followed the instructions of the gaucho. The few days at the ranch went quickly and was the highlight of our trip to Uruguay"

"The host was great we took the food option and the food was really good-we didn't realise our host was going to cook onsite. We had a really enjoyable evening in conversation with our host.nice areas to sit outside and to walk around small farm."

It needs a bit of work to give visual appeal outside as is in fact one accomodation unit only but comfortable inside. Also beware if you take meal option (recommend) then beware it will be prepared in the kitchen of your accomodation.

"I like the facilities, near all the attractions and also the rooms were clean and the atmosphere was nice. Thomas and their family were nice people and provided us with comfort during our stay. Breakfast was good, the price was accessible for all the accommodation they offered. I saw the have some delicious pizza as well, maybe I'll try it next time. You can also take a relaxing fishing time here, which is a good activity."

I wasn't able to connect to wifi from the room, so that was a bummer. Also the TV didn't display anything, I couldn't connect any device either. So this may be a growing opportunity. Also, even though I enjoyed breakfast, I think it could be included fruit as a side

"The location is fantastic. The history, the environment, the plantation, the social experiment. The house is old so it's not for people who want beaches, pools and modern environments. It is for people who love the age and history, the balconies and great food."

Staff need to be more customer focused. It's not just about speaking the language, it's about a can do, here to help approach

Hostitele Raymond a Id jsou naprosto bajecni lide-cele ubytovani je vazne jako 5*hotel-cistota,luxus,lokace-primo na plazi a servis a pece od hostitelu je naprosto vyjimecny-hodne 5*hvezdickovych hotelu by se melo u nich ucit!! Oba s umevem a peci jako u maminky se o Vas staraji velmi nadstandartne-zajisti cokoliv potrebujete a pecuji o Vas jako o vlastni deti:)) A ty snidane-osobni profesionalni kuchar Vam dela snidane na prani,serviruji to jako v 5* hotelu avsak v klidu,bez lidi,doma na terase za zvuku more:) Byly jsme vice jak 2tydny a 100% prijedeme zase! Dekujeme od srdce hostitelum za srdecnou peci a kdo vaha-slibujeme ze nebudete litovat!!!"

"Beautiful setting. Clean and comfortable. Very helpful and welcoming family-run hotel/restaurant. Breakfasts extremely good and beautifully cooked evening meals."

"What an amazing place to stay. the house is beautiful and well decorated. The pool is amazing and made our holiday. The beds were very comfortable. The showers and bath were also very good. Plenty of cooking utensils and glasses and plates etc."

The meter for the air conditioning was a bit annoying but once I'd got enough coins ok.

"Krásné prostředí, měli jsme pokoj s přístupem z terasy, krásný výhled.. pokoj zařízen účelně, bylo už trošku chladno a v pokoji se netopilo. Nízké matrace nepůsobily sice pohodlně, ale spalo se nakonec velmi dobře, peřiny nižší kvality. V pokoji nevynesený koš po předchozích hostech, v koupelně problém s regulací teploty ve sprše, chvíli voda horká, chvíli studená... Velice příjemný a ochotný personál."

Široký výběr na snídani, bohužel ale teplá část jídla není přikryta, takže většinou vaječina, párky apod. byly studené...
