"Lovely, big apartment. It's got everything you need. Good view of the sea. We were met at the airport by our host. Air con worked well."

"Confusion over how to pay. Booking.com says I can pay by card, but the host really wanted cash. We did manage to pay by card. It would be a lot of cash to carry around if you're staying more than a few days, so obviously, the card is better. There are 64 steps leading to the apartment block."

"Good apartment, nice view. The rooms are spacious, clean, and have a large kitchen. The owner arranged a taxi for us from the airport at a good price, they were already waiting for us, it's a pity that there was not enough time. There are restaurants and a wonderful beach nearby."

"Large flat with 3 rooms, living room and all amenities. Located at 50 meters from the beach. The check-in and response time for any question or problems is very good and the flat was very clean. WiFi works very well too"

"Die Lage direkt am Strand war sehr gut und das Apartment war sehr geräumig, alle Zimmer hatten einen Minibalkon mit seitlichem Meerblick. 2 Bäder plus eine Extratoilette. Im Gebäude ein gutes Restaurant und direkt am Wasser unten ein guter Beach Club"

"Es sind (mit Koffern) sehr viele Treppenstufen zu erklimmen... Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr schwierig, zunächst 3 Tage keine Antwort auf Anfragen wg der Schlüsselübergabe, sodass wir uns schon Sorgen machten und an eine Scam glaubten, was sich dann zum Glück nicht bestätigte. Die Gastgeber waren sehr geizig mit Handtüchern und Toilettenpapier und einiges war kaputt, eine Schlafzimmertür ließ sich nur schließen, indem man einen Stuhl verkeilte. Besser nicht dort kochen,,Herd funktionierte auch nicht. WIFi praktisch nur in Wohnzimmer. Die Kommunikation mit dem Host verlief auch im Weiteren sehr schleppend."

"Heel ruim appartement vlakbij het strand en van alle gemakken voorzien. Uitstekende communicatie met de zeer flexibele verhuurder (reageerde op vragen ook vrijwel direct)."

"Die Schlüsselübergabe wäre im unterliegenden Restaurant besser weil es leicht zu finden ist. Den das Appartement ist mit Navi und allem unauffindbar!!!!!!"

"The house was really well kept, with ground floor access that opens onto a private courtyard with a nice table and chairs. There was plenty of space to hang up laundry and beach towels. Inside, the house was spacious, with two sofas, a big, comfortable bathroom, and a TV with Sky access. The kitchen was fully equipped—honestly, even better than mine at home! When we arrived, Silvano, the host, greeted us warmly—he was super kind and thoughtful. He even left a couple of beers, some water, and two fruit juices in the fridge for us. The loft-style bedroom was roomy, and everything was brand new and working perfectly (including the air conditioning). Highly recommended accommodation for anyone looking to enjoy their independence on the beautiful island of Boa Vista and experience the authentic vibe of Cape Verde, just 3 minutes from Praia do Estoril and 5 minutes from the center of Sal Rei."

Angela is lovely to talk to and will share with you a lot of info and stories about the islands. Tip for breakfast: the cafetaria at the Enacol gas station 5mins down the main road serves a good one, including eggs."
