Champollion Hostel

"Tento hostel je ideální lokalita, v centru blízko Muzea a náměstí Tahrír (kde je i metro). Dům vypadá zvenku jako ostatní starší domy, samotný hostel je ale až v 6. patře - když vstoupíte, je to jako vejít do oázy. Útulné, hezké. Personál je moc příjemný, vstřícný a přátelský, cítil jsem se zde opravdu dobře. Pokoje pěkné, také spokojenost. Ceny za ubytování jsou velmi dobré, poměr cena/kvalita výborný. A cca 20 m od hostelu je na rohu obchod s pivem, doporučuji místní Stellu😉 Na cesty po okolí nebo za památkami doporučuji aplikaci inDrive. Do Koptské Káhiry je ale nejjednodušší jet metrem do stanice Mar Girgiz (sv. Jiří), lístek stojí symbolických 8 liber. Pokud bych měl jet znovu do Káhiry, šel bych opět sem."

"We were SO glad we stayed here for the week we were in Cairo. First, the staff were fantastic. Friendly, welcoming, accommodating, generous. The tasty breakfast included a delightful mix of local and continental foods. The breakfast was so large that we often weren't hungry for lunch! We appreciated the comfortable common areas for getting some reading or writing done. There were some nice books available for browsing as well. We saw the staff working hard everyday to keep the hostel clean. Within walking distance of a metro and some small, local grocery stores. Area felt safe. There is a shared kitchen and a fridge/freezer available for self-caterers. The hostel is located in an architecturally interesting building and one window looks out upon Champollion Palace. Highly recommended."
