"Tiny lift/elevator and had to lift luggage up/down stairs. We also didn't like that there was only one lock on the door just above the door handle. Despite this, we would actually stay here again due to the cleanliness and polite staff."

"Check in online,na recepci pak předání karty během chvilky,na pokoji minibar za poplatek,ale rychlovarka s kávou a čajem zdarma.Postel velmi pohodlná,koupelna čistá i s voňavým mýdlem a šamponem,fénem a ručníky.Na pokoji klimatizace na přitápění,dostatek polstářů a stylové "opičky" :) Hotel je na nepříliš provozované ulici,takže hluk minimální. 450m od Arc de Triomphe,metro 50 m od hotelu.Doporučuji 10/10"

"The Hotel De'Univers is in a great location in Caen City just opposite Caen harbour and 3 minutes from the castle & shops. There are good bars & restaurants very close by. Stefan, the hotel owner, was great & helpful & spoke perfect English. I paid a little extra for breakfast each day and got good value for that. The rooms are quite small but the bed is very comfortable and the rooms are clean and well maintained. I was able to park my motorbike right outside the hotel. There is a large car park opposite the hotel too. There is a large market on the harbour car park & street on Sundays that took me an hour to walk around....recommended to see. The front door has a key code, so you can come and go as you wish."

A good boulangerie is next door. Location is ok for metro transport, 6-8 minute walk, but a little way out of the centre of Paris if that's where you want to be."
