"I stayed at Le Bellerive in Payret le Chateau on a recent motorcycle trip.Greeted by Alfred, I got a fabulous room overlooking the lake. I dined in the restaurant and had the recommended Coq au Vin with a soap starter and desert which were all absolutely delicious with lovely ambiance both inside and out. Easy parking for my bike too just under my bedroom window. I would recommend this hotel to all travelling in this location Peter Ireland"

"An old house by a Roman bridge over the river. Even though everything was old, everything was clean. Listen to the water passing under the bridge as you sleep. Super old fashioned linnen bedding. Crystal glasses. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Off street parking. Superb breakfast."
