"Exceptional! This beautifully restored stone house was the perfect base to explore the stunning hilltop town of Chateauneuf. The owners have thought of every detail -from the home delivered wicker basket breakfast and super comfortable bed, to the luxurious bathroom. Highly recommend the walk to Ancien L’Ermitage ruines, and visit to the castle."

"Breakfast was optional and charged extra. We order it for our first morning. It was deliver to us in a basket, exactly as described and included freshly made French baguettes, croissants and cold cuts. The whole set up exceeded our expectations."

The restoration of the building was done with great care, and together with the professional lighting and tasteful furnishings, it has created a beautiful and very comfortable space. The studio is one of the coziest places I’ve ever stayed in. We truly enjoyed our stay."

It’s in the most idyllic location just beneath the beautiful Chateau (that incidentally is well worth a visit) Spotless, airy with everything you need for a fantastic stay in this charming village."

"Our apartment was a really lovely space in a renovated barn (?), lots of good design details and a happy place to be if you like the French/Country feel. We do and had the top suite which felt very private. Chateaunef en Auxous is beautifully quiet with Beaune and surrounding area areas easily accessible if you have a car. Special thanks to Cindy - super helpful, no nonsense; all requests & suggestions followed up with blistering efficiency; most reassuring, thank you :o)"

"We loved our room. Beautifully decorated and spacious. The village is so quiet and peaceful. Except on the day thee was a Boxsoap Derby. It was so much fun to watch and really felt a part of the village. Our room had a small kitchenette with a microwave. It’s not really a cooking kitchen but we still managed very well to have some homemade meals. The bathroom is great but be mindful there are no doors. But it still seems to work"

"Chateauneuf Jewel After spending a few nights in close by Chateaux which while stunningly beautiful offer limited modern conveniences, we booked the Chateauneuf Suites for 2 nights, mainly because the online photos looked so clean and gorgeous. Pleased to say that the actual experience matches what you see online - really nicely appointed suite in pristine condition. The setting of Chateauneuf is a picture postcard and the suite is a perfect way to enjoy it. And make sure you dine at Hostellerie du Château, La table de Guillaume - wonderful staff and excellent 100% local food."
