"We had a blissful stay at Chez Mamylette and cannot recommend it enough. Eric and Martine were simply the best hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. Eric could be a great concierge in a 5 star hotel! He made some amazing recommendations for day trips and restaurants. The breakfast was yummy and having it on the beautiful balcony was a bonus. Chez Mamylette is in a lovely village location and it really is very special. We wished we had stayed longer! The rooms are quirky and rustic - spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need. Marie even did my washing, returning it clean, dry & folded. Everything she does, including a scrummy, fresh breakfast each day is over & above, making it a special place to stay. The village is also beautiful, very French(!) with immaculate streets & gardens, it's like stepping back in time; all very gentle & quietly paced. We had supper at L'Escampette which was quite magical; candlelight, French music playing & authentic, delicious food."
