"The hosts were amazing. So friendly & welcoming. They were also very knowledgeable about many places to visit both near & further afield in Southern France. We appreciated their lovely pool area (so refreshing on a hot day). And we loved the peaceful countryside their home is in. Close to some beautiful historical villages.& vineyards. A great stay."

"We'd stayed at the apartment next door before and this one is a little smaller and less 'flash' but really clean and has everything you need. The family live in the main house but it still felt very private. There's a great space for storing bikes (and presumably skis in the winter). The outdoor decking is a good place to sit in the evening, and it's maybe only a 15–20 minute walk into Le Bourg d'Oisans. We cooked most evenings as well as using the kitchen for breakfasts; it had all the essentials. Would recommend, especially if you want a quiet stay with great access to the big-name cols. The only 'good to know' that I can think of is that the second bedroom really is an attic space reached by a ladder so maybe best for youngsters."

"Pet Friendly, situated alongside the lake in Montrollet so you can roll out of bed and have a beautiful dog walk before breakfast. Clean, comfortable, basic rooms, a typical French Auberge and Bar. Very friendly owners, nothing was too much trouble. A lovely breakfast to start the day. a lot of the food served is home grown and homemade. well worth a visit."
