Ferme Vauvray

"This is a fantastic apartment, super clean, larger than it looks on the photos, yet so warm that we never got to use the fire (loads of wood provided). The views across the mountains and Megeve are wonderful. The beds were so comfortable, lots of hot water for all 6 of us to have baths/showers. Our children fell in love with the mezzanine TV/den area. The kitchen has literally every utensil/gadget/item you could ever imagine! This apartment is slightly out of town with no ski bus nearby so you do need a car, but super quick to get into town/to all the slopes and we never had any problems parking (Went during Feb half term so v busy). My parents loved the apartment so much they actually never went down to Megeve! Owner and cousin amazingly responsive and solved all problems even power cut secondary to massive snowfall - cannot recommend enough"

"Nothing… but please do take note that this house is up a hill in a ski resort so please be sensible and do either have snow tyres or take chains - they cleared the roads multiple times a day but with heavy snow fall it does get covered again very quickly so the ‘have snow chains’ signs are there for a reason! We had both but only used snow tyres - were fine even with 50cm snow in 24hrs as they do keep sending the snow ploughs up all day!"

"Nous avons aimé l'espace et la décoration du logement. Le feu de cheminée très appréciable. Il est très très bien équipé, il y a beaucoup de vaisselles tout ce qu'il faut pour faire fondues, raclettes est.. on a apprécié la machine NESPRESSO. L'hôte a été très réactive sur les questions posées. On peut y séjourner à 5/6 personnes sans problèmes. Il y a beaucoup de jeux de société et qui sont complets :))"
