"We have just come back from a weeks stay at Chateau Mondou, we rented La Loge. The chateau itself is a beautiful building with large picturesque grounds and the other gites are lovely converted barns. It’s a really special place to spend your holiday and it’s in a perfect location. Peaceful and in the countryside, but only a 5-10 minute drive from the local town and all amenities. It’s also not far from lots of other places to visit and activities - kayaking, biking, villages, cities etc. Rokus and Anne-Marie are excellent hosts and so friendly and welcoming. They were available to chat to, ask questions to and nothing is too much trouble! They are committed to you enjoying yourselves during your stay and are sociable and kind, encouraging you to treat the grounds as your home as much as theirs. I wouldn’t hesitate to come and stay again. Thank you both!"

"Our host could not have been more helpful. There were clear instructions to the property and to retrieve the keys. She sent a text message on top of the messages via Booking.com to be sure I received them. The heating was on ahead of our arrival, which was great because it was incredibly cold outside. There were lots of little touches all over the house on the Harry Potter theme, even the Christmas tree had HP decorations! All the beds were very comfortable, even the fold-down sofa, which was also comfortable as a sofa. There was loads of hot water, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. Everything was spotlessly clean. Because of the cold weather, the wood pellet stove was running on overtime and we got an error message to clear the brazier. The host called straight away and talked us through the procedure. Super responsive and super helpful. A convenience store/bakery is less than 100m from the house. There are nice walks nearby, as well as the Lac des Sapins."

"Amazing view from the balcony, right on the sea front, fantastic location. Five minute walk or less to a supermarket, restaurants, and a great takeaway burger place. Good communication from owner. Apartment clean and well equipped, we had everything we needed. We had a great stay, thank you."
