"Free transport bus service between railway station and the old Centre. It stops very near the hotel. Room was spacious and quiet. Good breakfast. Town is charming and a day is easily spent strolling the medieval streets and eating and drinking at the nearby cafes & restaurants. The Cathedral is interesting and has some imaginative stained glass windows. All within a short walk of the hotel."

"Exceptionally welcoming and helpful reception on arrival, with the offer of help with our luggage and even a choice of flat or fizzy bottled water for the bedroom. This former Kyriad hotel had obviously had a recent refurbishment and was clean and bright, especially in the common parts. The en-suite bathroom actually had a bath and an excellent illuminated mirror above the basin, and there was a cupboard in the bedroom for hanging clothes etc."
