"We had a great stay at Hotel Val du Tech. Really delicious breakfast and very reasonably priced. Nice touches like home made bread and good quality cold cuts. Excellent coffee freshly prepared. Hotel is beautifully situated in a mountain valley- you will fall asleep to the sound of rushing water from the Tech river. The lounge and dining rooms are lovely with chequerboard floors and high ceilings. Stunning views from every window. We loved looking at the 3d maps of the mountains and the vintage tourist posters. Staff are very warm and friendly, we will definitely be back. The area is beautiful with many trails into the mountains, we found fun places with access to the river as it tumbles through the alpine plain."

"The place is awesome! Pretty and super clean! We felt very comfortable and we even had a chance to play the piano and sing! The host is super sweet and cheerful!"

"The only thing that maybe would make us not come back are the beds. Everything is perfect but today we both have back pain and we couldn’t sleep properly because of the matress. We feel sorry for that cause we would say this is by far the best hotel we have stayed in ever!"

"The location is out of town but close to hiking which is what we wanted. There is a bar with inside and outside seating so no need to go into town. Also there is a large sitting room with big windows and views all around. Breakfast was basic but very good with fresh bread and croissants."

"The setting, towering above the Tech river, close to the spa is impressive. The very friendly hosts speak both English and French fluently, the Hotel bar offers simple but delicious meals, and serves their own (excellent) beers. Great place for hikes in the surrounding mountains, Spain can be reached on foot. Rooms are simple but comfortable. Overall very good value for money. An excellent place to stay."

"Nothing really; The soundproofing between some of the (connectable) rooms is not perfect, but the hotel is quiet in general, so that was never a problem."

"the hotel is very nice, located in the middle of the nature and close to Prats de Mollo (where you can find shops, pharmacies and more activities to do). It is ideal to disconnect from daily routine. Wifi works really well."

"My room had a bit of gutter smell, but still bearable. I would have loved that the room had a kettle, considering that nearby are no shops at all and the bar of the hotel has restrictive opening hours."

"Great place in the mountains to escape from the heat in Spain. Spacious and very clean room overlooking the river. Cold plates at lunch and dinner were delicious. Also enjoyed the craft beers. Hosts very welcoming and helpful."

"Pel que naltros necessitàvem ens ha anat molt bé. El personal molt amables. El nou propietari és un canadenc angloparlant i el seu ajudant un veneçolà castellanoparlant, coses de la globalització. Estan posant a punt les instal·lacions modernitzant-les i fent-les més curoses amb el medi ambient. El llit és súper-còmode i a l'esmorzar et donen un pa acabat de fer, boníssim! I les vistes, fantàstiques!"
