"The apartment was ideally located for a stopover night on our way back to Calais from the Vendée. Very handy indeed to have a designated parking space in front of the property. Our two young children shared the double bed in the bedroom, while the two of us slept on the pull out sofa bed in the living room, which was a good size and surprisingly comfortable. The kids loved the novelty of watching one of their programmes on the enormous television in their room! We did very little catering in the apartment aside from a basic breakfast, but found the kitchen to be well equipped. The proximity of some botanical gardens was a nice surprise on arrival. It was a lovely place to have a walk and a play after a long day cooped up in the car. Well worth a visit."

"We looooved the terrace with the view. It was great to start or end the day outdoors. It was also great to have the opportunity to do the laundry without buying detergent. The shower and kitchen worked well. We had all we needed. We also liked how quiet the aircon was."

"By some way this was the finest accommodation we’ve ever stayed in. Many places fall under the ‘chateau’ banner but this was the real deal. Magnificent rooms , comfortable, spacious and beautifully furnished in a location that somehow took ‘peaceful’ to another level. The host was most helpful in recommending places to visit that helped make this an unforgettable stay."

"Did not match the photos on the website, nor even in this review request. They are for a larger gîte next door which is what I had thought I was booking. So, it was ok, we made do, safe, clean convenient ."

"het is een geweldig appartementje. Heel proper, gezellig en en comfortabel. De keuken is zeer goed uitgerust. De zetel is erg comfortabel. Het is een goed bed. Je kan het hele appartement goed verduisteren. Weinig tot geen geluid van de omgeving. Het is zeer goed gelegen, vlakbij de winkelstraat en op 5 minuten wandelen van de zee. De handleiding om de sleutel op te halen is helder en gemakkelijk."
