"Charming house and lovely room. Made very welcome by host."

"La Maison Céladon was clean and quiet and there was a garage to accommodate our bicycles. The shower was very good. The building dates back several centuries and has an interesting history and ambiance. From our top-floor room we were able to enjoy the sound of birdsong, including the cuckoo (early June). We enjoyed talking to Jean-Paul over breakfast. You have a glimpse of life in this corner of rural France."
"There was nothing we disliked, but guests with limited mobility would be well advised to choose a ground-floor room as the stairs are quite steep. Wifi was not working while we were there, but this was not a problem as there was a good mobile signal."
"We stayed here on our way to our holiday destination and on the way back again. We were able to have two rooms with a shared bathroom together in a little suite as we were travelling with our daughter. The accommodation was perfect, very French with lovely furniture and pictures and our host couldn’t have been more charming and attentive. The breakfast was delicious and we were able to have an evening meal at a nearby campsite which was delicious and very reasonable."

"Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral am Kirchplatz gleich gegenüber einer alten Kirche. Der Ort ist pittoresk und sehr ruhig. Das Haus ist sehr stilvoll und behaglich eingerichtet. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr französisch mit leckeren frischen Croissants. Ganz in der Nähe ist der wunderschöne Garten von Sassnière!"

"Mooie gite in de tuin van een chateau. Rustig gelegen op een enorm landgoed. Aardige en behulpzame gastheer en gastvrouw. Die ook de Engelse taal machtig zijn."

"Un hôte super ! Marc est aux petits soins et très bon conseiller pour le transport et les alentours. Le petit déjeuner est servi frais tous les matins en provenance de la boulangerie et le logement est superbe pour se retrouver en famille ou en couple, à 10 min des plages des américains et de la fautea à pied. Nous recommandons vivement !"
"Fantastic location, 5 minute walk to the centre, free parking just outside and views were stunning. Main living area was large, kitchen had everything you needed and the staff we met were delightful."
