"Everything. Accommodation second to none. Natalie is the perfect host. Little touches like fresh bread, milk and snacks were greatly appreciated. A wonderful stay."

"Much nicer than the photos. Nothing in the village except an exceptional restaurant 50m away (book in advance) so breakfast essentials provided including home-made jam and a bottle of local bubbly. Very quiet. If you sit on the sofa, plan to stay awhile as my 70 year-old carcass had to be hauled out. Parking outside and a shed to store our bicycles. Worth a detour from the Loire à Vélo track on the south bank but find routes through the country away from the D road."

"La garn amabilidad y generosidad del matrimonio, propietario de La Sterne, además de ser un excelente alojamiento. Voy caminando por Francia hacia Santiago de Compostela y me ofrecieron de comer y cenas, porque no había sitios cercanos para que pudiera comprar comida. Tengo pocas palabras para agradecerles su generosidad."

"After a warm welcome from Christine and Max, we greatly enjoyed our delicious dinner with them. Thanks to Max for his thoughtful, tasty cooking, which was vegetarian for us. We greatly enjoyed eating together and sharing stories of our lives. Breakfast was great too with local produce, including eggs from their very own chickens, local cheese, and a range of delicious temptations. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. We slept beautifully on the great mattress. The bathroom was great. The Van Gogh theme was really nice We would certainly stay again"
