"Wow what a truly gem to find. Great location and above all, Flo is the best the nicest kindest helpful lady. Her home is superb so very French, what a joy to experience this and her wonderful breakfast in her amazing kitchen. The bedroom had everything and far more than expected so many lovely extras. Amazing ing ensuite too. The icing on the cake your very own and personal balcony with beautiful views. We thought it was shared from other reviews, it is personal. I can't wait to go back there again and even a personal parking space too. What a wonderful host Flo is."

"We were very pleased with our accommodation at La Surprise, it really was a surprise. The view across Etaples on to port and the sea from the sunny terrace were very interesting and ever changing. Flo was chatty and attentive and entertained us at breakfast with her sailing experiences on her yacht, the ‘Lizard’. Flo can speak a little English but I am sure she appreciates her guests speaking some French to her."

"Bonjour. Très bon accueil. Le logement est très propre et pour 2 personnes. Il ne manque rien. Facilité pour parking à 10m. Petit déjeuner impeccable. Café ou divers thés, croissant, pain, beurre, confiture faite maison. La compagnie de la propriétaire durant ce petit-déj nous a permis d'échanger sur notre séjour ce qui est toujours enrichissant."

"Lovely host who was attentive before and during the stay. Very quaint gite which is extremely quiet and secluded. Comfortable bed and a very nice breakfast provided in the morning which is delivered to the door. There is a Lidl within a walk of the gite for essentials."

"The owner was very helpful and explained a lot to me. The location was perfect for a winter stay - only 100 metres from the beach, but far enough away not to be bothered by Storm Floriane! The village has good shops, cafés, and bakeries, even in winter. The Take-away pizza place 100 metres along the road was one of the best pizzas I've ever had."
"A great little place, walking distance from the beach, main street- rue St Jean- and the shops. No parking at the property, plenty of parking around you have to pay for; the owner was helpful and advised free parking areas-10/15 min walk from the studio/flat."
