"After a long walk from Murat over high mountains, we arrived at the Le Brunet hotel in Saint-Jacques-des Blat at 7:00 p.m. and found it a comfortable shelter. The hospitality and friendliness of the hostess, as well as the breakfast, were very good."

"A lovely hotel in a beautiful location in the Auvergne. We were welcomed by the host who was very friendly and helpful. The room was large and the facilities were clean and comfortable. The room had a balcony with fantastic views to the countryside and mountains. The room was also very quiet. There was also plenty of outside parking available."

"Tucked away in the in the quiet, peaceful countryside just outside of Sarlat. The perfect spot to be out of the busyness of the town, but only a 5 min drive. Great room with lovely heated pool facilities. Good breakfast and the husband and wife owners were very welcoming and helpful"

We travel with a large dog, and are always thankful for a welcoming reception: Very friendly, dog-friendly staff (they have a dog-supervisor at the hotel, as well :)).
