"We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast outside in the sunshine, there were some delightful touches with fresh fruit salad, homemade bread, jams and cereals. The swimming pool was an ideal length to swim and relax in. A big thank you to our hosts’ Amanda and Michael."

"Such a lovely stay at Le Cerisier. Amanda & Michael are really lovely hosts and go out of their way to ensure you have a comfortable stay. Room is gorgeous. Bed is so so comfortable. The little cakes made by Amanda and left in the room each time are a lovely gesture as is the offering of a bottle of wine on arrival. The house is a beautiful setting with a stunning garden to enjoy. Breakfast each morning is a treat. Thank you both for a fabulous stay. Z&E 🥰"

"I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Le Cerisier. Amanda and Michael were incredible hosts, so welcoming, helpful and friendly at every opportunity. My room was beautiful, it had a lovely view of the pool. It was very clean, comfortable and had everything I needed, including a very good hairdryer! They have really thought of everything a guest might need. I had a lovely breakfast in the garden every morning, with fresh produce and jams made by Amanda. There was a fridge available to guests which I found very handy. The location was great, the room was really quiet while being in the middle of Sainte Foy- lots of lovely little bars and restaurants nearby."

"Our hosts were lovely and very welcoming. The garden and pool were also lovely. It is an historic old house, with the guest facilities renovated nicely. The bedroom is a good size and well equipt. The bed was comfortable. If you are staying in St Foy, I can highly recommend this place for these reasons."

"There is no external lock for the bedroom door (although there is a good lock for the street door). There is a latch on the inside of the bedroom door, but one cannot lock that door when you go out. This was not a problem for us as no-one else was staying in the other rooms at the time we were there. The town of St Foy la Grande has seen better days. Be aware that very little is open (including restaurants) on Sundays and Mondays."
