"Clean, nicely renovated old house on the countryside but pretty close to Beaune so this is not an issue. Very good breakfast. Friendly host, available in case of questions also before arrival."

"We had a lovely stay at Le Colombier. Olivier was very friendly and helpful. Our room was excellent and perfect for our family as we had 2 separate bedrooms with a big bathroom and lots of space. The location was great, just a short distance from Beaune but nice and peaceful. The pool was great for the hot afternoon when we arrived and our children really enjoyed the trampoline too."

"We've never stayed in a chambre d'hote before, always being nervous of feeling uncomfortable because of the very personal experience compared with a more impersonal hotel. However Le Colombier exceeded all our expectations and changed our whole perspective. We had a fabulous room with a gorgeous bathroom, access to a little (shared) lounge and dining room. There were only 4 rooms in the whole place (aside from the family's own private quarters), and we were the only guests in October. It would have been no problem at all, in fact quite fun, to share the lounge/dining area with other people. Olivier the host is also a chef and prepared us the most glorious meal, all served sensitively and without fuss, leaving us to enjoy it in our own time. We brought our 2 spaniels and they were welcomed, outside was a little garden where they could sniff about, and the rural location meant lovely evening walks could be had. We would definitely stay there again - it was superb!"

"The town is very simple and everything is close by — the slopes are only a 4–5 minute walk away, which is great for families with young children. My kids are 9 and 6 years old, and while the ski resort is just about big enough for them, it was very busy during our stay from 28 December to 4 January. From around 3–4 January onwards, it became much quieter and more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend visiting during a less busy period."
"What a wonderful host. You are warmly welcomed, shown around, provided with advice on restaurants, things to do, and breakfast is to your liking, whether that's a small snack before a big adventure or a full breakfast ready for a day of city walking. The rooms are comfortable, have everything you need, and the space is calming and quiet. I felt so safe being a single woman staying there and I am more than sure I could have called the B&B at any point for help if I needed it out and about or at the accommodation itself. It felt like a home more than just a place to stay. Alberic (I think was his name) was just the kindest and most helpful host. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again."

Boulangerie very nearby and the apartment although small was well equipped and perfect what I needed. Maybe a small/young family of 4 could get by. The apartment manager was friendly and helpful."
