"The seaside location was amazing, watching the sea was so calming. The beds were so comfortable we slept in almost every day. The space was huge, and everyone had a place to themselves. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed from breakfast to dinner. It was a short drive to the local shops and the supermarket. We visited Cherbourg (a 50-minute drive) and the La Cité de la Mer which is a museum with an aquarium, a nuclear submarine and a Titanic exhibition. We also visited Sainte-Mer-Èglise (a 35-minute drive) and went to the Airborne Museum, which had one of the best displays of the D-Day landings. If you know the movie 'The Longest Day' from 1964, where the parachutist gets caught on the church, this is the town."

The shower was the best I have ever experienced and there was a big choice of shower gel, shampoo, face wash, etc. to use. The guesthouse is situated in a small hamlet, near the coast - an idyllic rural location."
